Delicious fixed-price menu (you can see what's on offer each month on the website). Extremely friendly staff and excellent, locally sourced, organic ingredients. Numerous cultural projects thanks to the brilliant mind of Nicolò Reverdini. Happy animals and an enchanting forest. I'd been away for a long time, but I found the same beauty and care as many years ago. A certainty in a world that's changing too quickly.

The staff is very kind and helpful.
The products are top-quality, but they aren't well-prepared and aren't valued.
The appetizers were small for a farmhouse/agriturismo and lacked flavor. Even the first courses didn't honor the locally sourced products.
Overall, acceptable, but nothing authentic and nothing that would make us want to go back.
Super location!!
The price was a bit high for the experience.

I went to a set lunch menu. Everything was very good and locally sourced. The portions were adequate, with the option of refills upon request. I agree with avoiding waste.

A very nice place, distinguished by the kindness and passion not only of the owners, but also of the young people who work there. We ate very well and spent a fair amount. We'll definitely be back!

I went to La Forestina restaurant: just outside Milan but surrounded by greenery, with vegetable gardens, open spaces, and free-roaming animals that lend it a truly authentic feel.
The November 2025 menu was a pleasant surprise. The appetizers, all centerpieces, were simple but thoughtful: potato focaccia, crostini with lard and honey, sweet and sour pumpkin, and mondeghili, a very good flan.
The first courses were pumpkin risotto with blue cheese and ricotta/herb lasagna. They were served to share between four people, and both were delicious, different yet balanced.
The Varzese tagliata with potatoes was delicious and cooked just right; the portions aren't huge, admittedly, but if you asked for seconds, they were happy to bring them to you.
One detail I really appreciated: one of the owners stopped by the table to tell us about the origins of the ingredients, including what they grow themselves and what they purchase from local producers. Kind, passionate, and you could tell he really cared.

We visited Cascina Forestina with two dear friends who had been there for a while, and I must say the experience exceeded all expectations.
We ate wonderfully: the November menu was rich in seasonal dishes and ultra-local ingredients, truly zero kilometers. The polenta with gorgonzola and aromatic herbs was out of this world, the risotto exceptional, the baked potatoes melted in your mouth, and everything, from the marinated pumpkin to the potato and rosemary focaccia, was carefully prepared, made with love and respect for the ingredients, and, consequently, delicious. A special thanks to Niccoló for his hospitality; what he shared with us, from the origins to the history of the dishes, made the already incredible quality of everything we tasted even more significant.
Highly recommended: we'll definitely be back!

Excellent farmhouse restaurant, with a fixed-price menu where every dish tastes excellent. Good wines. Attentive service. Superb hospitality. The tart is superb. The countryside is in abundance and its food is all organic. Memo: come back here. Another memo: Traveler on my path, rest yours.

I tried the agriturismo, and the food was good. The location, nestled in the countryside, is a different dimension and a great way to escape the city routine.
Quality products, some locally sourced.
Good value and very close to Milan.
The place is noisy: lots of groups, and I think that also affects the service, which is quite chaotic. The staff, however, is very friendly, no complaints.
