We're back from a three-day vacation in Valbelluna, a valley waiting to be discovered in the Belluno Dolomites National Park. The Casa nei Boschi farmhouse hosted us excellently. The welcome, the cleanliness, the room, the food, the space, the silence, the furnishings, the attention to detail, the scents, the colors, the earth, the sky, and two donkeys made our stay very pleasant. We had lunch at this restaurant today and were truly delighted. Excellent food, excellent quality, attentive service, and the entire staff were incredibly friendly. A place where you feel welcomed with kindness and professionalism, all accompanied by a spectacular view of the Belluno Valley, making the experience even more special. It begins with a view of the Belluno Valley, continues in a welcoming setting with meticulous attention to detail, and culminates with a lunch where nothing is left to chance. Quality products, mostly home-grown, are presented in dishes with the flavors of old-world cuisine. A house-made platter, crispy lasagna with ragù, potato roll with spinach and ricotta, roast beef, and a superb dessert! Kudos to Max and Denise for the passion you sense as soon as you set foot in this wonderful place!
