We actually made a reservation here because of the restaurant that operates here, but about 4 days before our stay, we were informed that the restaurant would not be operating on the date of our stay (breakfast will be provided). Please note this for those who, like us, tried to make a reservation because the restaurant had good reviews. I think it was closed because the peak season was over and there were few customers because it was a weekday. Still, I liked the accommodation and its surroundings because they were beautiful. I would like to come back later on a weekend or during peak season.

We stopped for lunch on our way to visit the famous Abbey of San Galgano! What can I say... this restaurant was an excellent discovery!
We ate truly delicious traditional dishes and were welcomed and served by kind and professional staff!

Nothing to say, I slept very well and ate equally well! The restaurant is a little expensive, but we are in Tuscany, and everything is more expensive here!

We just got married here (10.10.2024) and are blown away with how amazing this place is. The rooms are lovely and clean, the food was incredible, and the staff were attentive, going above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly, and we all had what we needed. The venue itself is so beautiful and peaceful, the whole place made the wedding experience incredible and many guests commented how impressed they were with the place. I recommend staying here to enjoy the scenery, surroundings and the food!! Thank you so much for an amazing few days 💖

We had lunch before visiting the abbey and the eternal, very particular and welcoming restaurant with friendly and helpful staff; we took a platter of cured meats, pappardelle with wild boar ragout, fillet with lard and truffle and chestnut cheesecake, all delicious but the fillet with lard and truffle was a spectacle: impeccable cooking, tender and tasty meat.

We arrived at the restaurant after visiting the abbey, what can I say, everything was really delicious.
They made us sit in a room made entirely of stone with a truly beautiful fireplace.
We had a typical Tuscan lunch with an excellent house Chianti as a cask wine.
Everything was delicious, a special mention to the truly spectacular veal cheeks braised in Chianti!!!
