Fantastic place! The staff were incredibly kind, in fact, even more so! Superlative views and total tranquility!

This place is a DREAM and so worth going. I never write reviews, but felt the need because our stay was that good and we will be back. The rooms are big, clean, and so dang cute! The property is absolutely stunning and is a perfect oasis in the midst of a busy Italy trip. The staff is incredible and the food/wine was imbecile. Breakfast is included and make sure to do a tasting menu at dinner and go hungry (our 2 person menu could’ve fed 3 or more people). The pool area is breathtaking and you can message the staff to bring you drinks at the pool, which was a nice touch. Make sure to stay multiple nights, you will not want to leave. Next time we will schedule a cooking class in advance at the resort, instead of going elsewhere. Make sure to check out Siena, the super cute town just a few minutes away.

Wow wow wow… that is how I describe this vineyard hotel. From the views, to the lovely staff and of course the wine. We loved every moment, thank you for having us- we were so sad to leave! Will definitely be recommending this hotel to friends and family.

The location is exceptional, the view from the property is stunning and Siena is nearby. The outdoor pool is definitely the highlight of the stay, perfect for relaxing and enjoying the scenery. The room and bathroom were very spacious and clean, and there were sun loungers right outside for extra comfort. Dinner was tasty, the chef was great. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, which really added to the experience. The main downside was the air conditioning, which was only partially working. During a heatwave, when everything from the air to the floors and walls is overheated, a properly functioning AC is really essential. Although it was blowing air, it wasn’t cold enough to actually cool the room. I had to keep the shutters and curtains closed all day, and even with the windows open at night, the room remained warm and a bit uncomfortable. Breakfast was also quite limited. Hot dishes (like eggs, vegetables, or pancakes) came at an extra charge, and I missed more local specialties such as prosciutto, cheeses, olives, sun-dried tomatoes, and other regional ingredients. Despite these points, I would still gladly return, just probably not in the peak of summer.

Hands down the best stay at a hotel I have ever had. The place is absolutely gorgeous, with rooms that are clean and comfortable, and staff who are on hand to help with anything. The food at the restaurant is also great, excellent quality and a real Tuscan experience. Cannot thank the staff enough for making us feel so welcome and providing such an amazing experience. Cannot wait to come back!

Fabulous, relaxing holiday. Easy travel to places of interest. Accommodation was 5 stars as were the staff. Food excellent. Would highly recommend a stay there. Location and scenery were amazing 👏

Dream stay at Villa Il Castagno Wine, Resort & Restaurant ✨ We just spent two unforgettable nights there, and everything was absolutely perfect! The setting is breathtaking: nestled in the heart of the vineyards and Tuscan countryside, Villa Il Castagno is a true haven of peace. The stone buildings are incredibly charming, the pool is large, pleasant, and heated, offering incredible views of the surrounding hills. The room we had was splendid, a subtle blend of old and new, tastefully decorated, comfortable, and very well-equipped. Nothing to complain about! The staff is lovely, always attentive and welcoming, which only adds to the experience. A special mention goes to the on-site restaurant, with its large outdoor terrace: you can enjoy all three meals there while once again enjoying this enchanting setting. A real favorite, which I highly recommend. We will definitely come back!

Great suite, hot tub, Tuscan long distance views, location, chef, Castagno wine tastings and olive oil, cooking class in English & Italian w chef, made bread and lasagna, Chianti Classico and new wine, Campo, Santo. You can tour the property.
