Agriturismo Dongili In Verona

I am not a vegetarian, I am an omnivore, and I must say that until a few days ago I looked with suspicion at those relegated, by conviction or whim, only to herbaceous or generally only to vegetable products. I had the opportunity to live this experience in this excellent restaurant and I must say that the food was absolutely satisfying. We start with a vegetable broth, and this leaves you perplexed for a moment, but the crunchy black cabbage leaves, which accompany the broth, are an invention that leaves you amazed. Then we move on to excellent and tasty savory pies. Salads of various herbs full of flavor and aromas that make you discover worlds that I didn't even know existed. A crunchy and tasty pumpkin rice timbale closes the savory meal before a series of absolutely unique desserts. An absolutely positive experience in a lovely place. A discovery absolutely worth repeating.

Very particular. Never eaten in an exclusively vegetarian restaurant. It was a nice surprise. Intimate place, with few seats. Beautiful view. Very courteous staff. The highlight are the savory pies with vegetables.

I'm reviewing my experience last week. Perfect dinner. Many courses and a fixed seasonal menu that is completely vegetarian but does not lose flavour. Very helpful and competent waitresses, even when explaining the various dishes. Very nice and quiet environment with the "historical" aesthetics left as they were originally. In front of the entrance it is possible to enjoy a beautiful view of the Montorio landscape. The only sore points that I feel like communicating are the poorly signposted entrance and the route to the restaurant which is very unpaved. Otherwise excellent experience, recommended!

Five stars are not enough: This is the best place for vegetarian food in/around Verona! I enjoy my time in Agiturismo Dongili whenever I’m in the area… The place itself, an old villa on a wine hill, is unique. The vegetarian menu is always a delicious experience. Even for those, who are not vegetarian - it is incredible what the chef, Gianluca, can create out of “only” vegetables. (Make sure to save space for the sweets!) And definitely have a drink in the Chiringuito, downside, right at the entrance gate of the property. This is a really refreshing place, especially in the hot summer nights.

La recensione è per il chiringuito appena sotto al listorante, ai piedi del castello, in location suggestiva, tra le vigne e piante in genere. Un apericena d'estate con 3 panzerotti fritti e un'ottima fetta di torta salata con caponata, due buone birre, spesi 24 euro. Non metto 4 pallini perché l'uso dei bicchieri, davvero eccessivo, di plastica va evitato.
