What a beautiful place. My nephew had his wedding there, and it was amazing. The staff actually made it that much more incredible. We stayed 3 nights; could have stayed another week. They do yoga retreats as well throughout the year. I can go on and on, but just go if you have the chance.

The views were breathtaking. The staff was top notch!

La Dogana is a truly magical place! I have just returned from my third retreat at La Dogana and I was as charmed this third visit as I was on my very first. The setting and views are gorgeous and the apartments are simply lovely! Though I find everything about La Dogana and the yoga retreat there amazing, it is Lucia, the owner, and her incredible team that make La Dogana so special. From the comfortable apartments to the fabulous meals...I mean fabulous, to the fun and thoughtful guided town tours and, lastly but hardly least, the fun and delicious cooking lessons...everything is so well planned. Guests are made to feel like VIP's. The care, attention to detail and the love Lucia and her team put into everything they do for guests makes a stay at La Dogana truly a trip of a lifetime.

This was my second year visiting La Dogana for a yoga retreat and it was just as wonderful as last year! The stunning grounds and impeccable service made my stay truly special. Each day's itinerary was thoughtfully curated, featuring visits to charming small towns, delightful wine and olive oil tastings, and, most memorably, an incredible cooking class led by Elisa. Every meal was a feast of flavors, and the warmth and kindness of everyone made me feel right at home. Lucia, the owner, is a remarkable soul whose hospitality added to the magic of the experience. I consider the venue my home away from home. I will be back again!

I wish I could give Lucia and La Dogana a billion star review! My husband and I recently got married at La Dogana and we had the most incredible wedding with about 55 guests. Lucia and her team are incredible. They have thought through every single detail and they execute every item with precision, attentiveness, and a smile. All of our wedding guests were stunned with the staff and the venue. I wish I could spend every weekend with Lucia and her team. I recommend La Dogana to anyone looking to host a stress free wedding or to attend a retreat! Lucia has also done a great job with upgrading the estate while also keeping its historical charm and each of the apartments has been carefully curated! The food was also incredible and accommodating. The team easily was able to work with our group's dietary restrictions for every single meal! The view speaks for itself, but I would be silly not to mention how beautiful it is to overlook Lake Trasimeno! I cannot wait to go back in the future for a wine retreat.

If you’re considering La Dogana as a guest or for your dream wedding, do it. My husband and I were married here, with 40 guests traveling from the US, and we still talk about how incredibly special our time at La Dogana was. I found La Dogana while researching European wedding venues and fell in love instantly. After our FaceTime venue tour, it was an immediate YES. We didn’t visit before the wedding, so our emails and Zoom calls meant everything to us. Lucia and Eleonora, our wedding planner, were beyond helpful—giving much needed guidance and recommendations for us and our guests every step of the way. When we finally arrived, my jaw dropped. The photos truly cannot capture the beauty, scale, and magic of this place. I’ve never felt so immersed in nature while staying somewhere so stunning. The charm is unreal, and I constantly dream of reliving our days there!!! Lucia and her staff’s love for La Dogana is deeply felt. They not only cared for my husban and I but for each and everyone of our guests. Making sure they too had a special experience. One of our friend’s had a wild travel day and they made sure she had dinner and a bottle of wine in her room, my other friend brought her 3 kids (one of which was just 2 months old) and they provided her with a nursing/kids area for each dinner we had, each of our guests with dietary restrictions were remembered and provided with DELICIOUS alternatives, this list could go on and on -- their kindness is unmatched!!! And the food… I still dream about the lasagna and those welcome dinner pastas. Getting married in such a beautiful place, with uninterrupted time to connect with your favorite people—while knowing everyone is so well cared for—is a gift I’ll always hold close!! Weddings are often described as stressful, but I can honestly say ours wasn’t. I love this place so much! THANK YOU, LA DOGANA, for being so VERY special!!
