I couldn't resist the temptation of the deer meat, served with a side dish of mushrooms and typical cheeses, accompanied by a glass of red wine which expertly enhanced the taste. The venison, although a little less tender than I expected, won over my palate with its rich, multifaceted flavor. A dish which, despite its imperfect appearance, proves to be a winning choice for lovers of mountain cuisine. For dessert, I was tempted by a muffin they produced, made with ricotta and chocolate chips. The inviting appearance, however, hid a too dry texture, making it difficult to fully appreciate. A small misstep in an otherwise satisfying meal. What makes this refuge a place to be recommended are undoubtedly the products it produces, evidence of the commitment to valorising local resources. In conclusion, the restaurant is worth a visit not only for the context in which it is located but also for the opportunity to taste dishes that speak of the history and tradition of Cansiglio. In the center of Pian del Cansiglio, a beautiful and functional structure used as a restaurant, bar and sale of typical Alpago products. The large "sunbathing" terrace with tables. Good quality/price ratio; Reservation recommended on weekends.

Si mangia benissimo, locale molto bello accogliente il Sig Mauro e di una gentilezza enorme lo ringraziamo. Abbiamo preso le selezioni di formaggi vi posso assicurare che sono buonissimi 😋 essendo una Casara so riconoscere un buon formaggio fatto bene . Il gulasch e il cervo lo consiglio vivamente si scioglie in bocca pieno di sapori. La carne tenerissima. Ci tornerò molto volentieri . Vi lo consiglio

Ottimo per fermarsi a bere un caffè o una cioccolata calda con magari un dolce preparato da loro. Un buon posto per un pranzo in montagna dopo una passeggiata. Consigliato.

Sono stata alcune settimane fa, ma temo che non ho scritto una recensione. Questo posto merita davvero tante stelle per la eccellente qualità dei prodotti. Formaggi, yoghurt, latte, si sente il sapore delle erbe che mangiano le mucche sul piano del gran Cansiglio. Gli gnocchi, le paste, le torte tutto è fatto in casa. Servizio molto cordiale e efficiente. Da ritornare!
