After a good hike, there's nothing better than eating something typical of the area. This agriturismo is ideal for eating homemade and hearty dishes. I recommend the main course with pizzoccheri, polenta, and costine.

At the end of a walk in paradise, what better way than a welcome from Domenico, a third generation in the Val di Mello? An old stable and barn transformed into a truly charming restaurant/café. Stone, wood, and good wine do the rest. I ate the best taragna of my life... Reservations are required in the evenings, but the walk is definitely worth it.

I was there today with my family, lovely place, very good food. The guys serving the tables were fantastic, unfortunately the waiting times were a bit slow,... but I would still go back.

Al Camer is a simple and well-kept agriturismo located in the heart of the enchanting Val di Mello. It's accessible via a lovely hike through meadows, trails, and streams. In warmer weather, you can dine al fresco on a covered veranda with wooden tables. The staff is friendly and quick to serve (be patient if it's full). The dishes are traditional, and the prices are better than elsewhere. We ordered two Valtellina risottos, a plate of pizzoccheri, and a plate of ribs and polenta (very good). A sparkling water and a glass of prosecco, four desserts, and two coffees. Total €80.

This farmhouse is located along the main trail. It's in excellent condition (both the grounds and the structure). The interior is entirely made of wood, small but welcoming, rustic yet at the same time modern. Seating is available inside and out. The outdoor tables (protected by umbrellas/awnings) are shared with other guests. Reservations are recommended, as there are limited seating.
Al Camer offers loungers for sunbathing and a beautiful view of the valley.
The food is good and excellent value. The staff is friendly and helpful.
