We chose this place by chance to spend a pleasant holiday evening and found ourselves enjoying a high-quality culinary experience, with exquisite and authentic dishes, made with love. We were welcomed by Mr. Felice, an extraordinary host, the true soul of this place. Here, the customer is not a receipt, as he was keen to emphasize. And so it was. We felt at home. Thank you, Mr. Felice, for your kindness, your expertise, your sincerity, your humanity, and your friendliness. My partner and I were here in mid-July, having stumbled upon it somewhat by chance on Google Maps and reading some guides. First of all, we never expected such a cute and well-kept place; it almost seemed like a fairytale with all the fairy lights around the tables. Plus, the quality of the food is top-notch: we've never had a side salad that tasted so good, even without any dressing! Finally, a huge thank you to the guy who looked after us during dinner. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he told us the story behind all the dishes and truly made us feel at home. Thank you so much!

A wonderful discovery, both culinary and human. Gino took the time to explain the dishes and their components to us in English, for a real pleasure to discover sought-after local dishes, in a typical restaurant, which also knows how to welcome tourists. A cozy atmosphere in a small village square, surrounded by soft music and a few tables that talk without shouting. A pleasure from start to finish.

Today my wife and I had lunch there, everything was excellent from the service to the food, it was a lovely experience, the owner and the person who served us and described the dishes were lovely people, I recommend it for anyone who wants to spend a nice day tasting good food and being friendly. A fabulous discovery, well worth the detour. Felice is a host, a cook, unlike any we've ever encountered. Modest, generous, attentive... Excellence in our province of Viterbo, its refined dishes, its breathtaking wine cellar, its place full of history, and its ridiculously low prices in view of its succulent dishes. And to think we hesitated to go in, a little scared by the facade... As it turns out, "the habit doesn't make the man."

Dinner with friends and among friends because Felice Arletti with his communication skills and the passion he puts into his business makes you feel part of the experiences he has been carrying out for some years now. Cuisine essentially based on local products, prepared in an excellent way.
Oil, hazelnuts and the typical expression of local cuisine: the canepinese hay, very fine egg pasta of incomparable goodness.

Very nice and welcoming restaurant with excellent food, well presented and very friendly staff. Raw materials at zero km and of great quality. The only flaw is the lack of a clearly visible sign on the outside and the internal stairs; the rooms are on several floors and for those who have problems with legs or knees it can be a problem. In any case absolutely recommended.

Il Calice e la Stella è una gemma luminosa piccola e nascosta ma in grado di riempirti il cuore oltre che la pancia! Il padrone di casa Felice non è uno chef è qualcosa in più: un curioso ed appassionato ricercatore di sapori antichi riproposti in modo nuovo con grande attenzione alla qualità delle materie prime e della loro origine locale. Felice , il padrone di cucina, ti accoglie con cordialità ed in lui traspare la passione per quello che fa ( e lo fa bene!). Abbiamo mangiato bene e con un ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità in un locale incastonato nelle vecchie mura di Canepina. Ottimi il Fieno ( i maccheroni) , i ceciliani, il bio uovo, il semifreddo alla nocciola, fantastica l'insalatina di stagione ma credo che tutti i piatti siano speciali. Eccellente rapporto prezzo qualità. Servizio preciso e cordiale. Insomma anche se Canepina è un po' fuori mano un pasto da Felice vale il viaggio.

Domenica io e mia moglie abbiamo deciso di fare una gita fuori porta e dopo la visita a Palazzo Farnese a Caprarola ci siamo deliziati in questo ristorante di Canepina.
A dirla tutta avevo visto un servizio su Geo che intervistava Felice, proprietario del ristorante, che mi aveva molto incuriosito. La scelta è stata azzeccatissima.
A cominciare dal servizio, elegante e preciso, la scelta dei vini con due assaggi proposti da Felice, e poi un tripudio di sapori. Sicuramente vale la pena fare una seconda visita.
