Without a doubt, a place where the people who work there LOVE what they do. From appetizer to dessert, I loved everything. I highly recommend the pumpkin soup as an appetizer. The first course and dessert were also excellent (the hazelnut semifreddo, which is said to be one of the best in Italy). The service was also excellent: the waiter was very friendly and helpful, and the owner was very welcoming and interesting, telling us lots of details about his cuisine. The place is small, but nine of us fit in easily. They don't have outdoor seating this season. A wonderful experience, I want to go back to try the pork belly.

The key word of the meal was surprising! Each course astonished our palate, allowing us to rediscover flavors we thought we knew and offering simple yet surprising pairings. Every dish was noteworthy, from the appetizers to the first courses, main courses, and desserts. Even a simple dish like the pappa al pomodoro with buffalo mozzarella and basil emulsion was enough to make our eyes pop.
All this was accompanied by a professionalism that accommodated and anticipated every need, and a kindness that warms the heart. We will definitely be back, thank you ❤️

Truly professional, friendly, excellent food! They truly do catering!! The host is fantastic, someone who truly cares that you enjoy your stay. The price is more than fair, the dishes are well thought out, the porcini mushrooms are delicious and cooked to perfection, the desserts are fantastic, everything is fantastic. I can't wait to go back and try new dishes that vary according to the season. This one is also fantastic, see you soon!!

...What can I say!!! We had lunch at this restaurant based on the Google reviews, and it did not disappoint. You'll be greeted with smiles and warmth in a comfortable and refined setting. Their goal is to showcase local cuisine and products, and they succeed perfectly. We discovered authentic flavors with a touch of flair. The local cured meats platter, the pasta, and, don't forget to try the porcini mushroom dishes, were excellent. The waiter who served us was truly helpful, extremely kind, and very knowledgeable in recommending food and wine. We found the value for money to be excellent.

We chose this place by chance to spend a pleasant holiday evening and found ourselves enjoying a high-quality culinary experience, with exquisite and authentic dishes, made with love. We were welcomed by Mr. Felice, an extraordinary host, the true soul of this place, with a kind and always smiling waiter. Here, the customer is not a receipt, as he was keen to emphasize. And so it was. We felt at home. Thank you, Mr. Felice, for your kindness, your expertise, your sincerity, your humanity, and your friendliness. Your work goes beyond catering, an almost utopian approach to the customer, which however he managed to make real. Thank you from the bottom of my heart ❤️

My partner and I were here in mid-July, having stumbled upon it somewhat by chance on Google Maps and reading some guides. First of all, we never expected such a cute and well-kept place; it almost seemed like a fairytale with all the fairy lights around the tables. Plus, the quality of the food is top-notch: we've never had a side salad that tasted so good, even without any dressing! Finally, a huge thank you to the guy who looked after us during dinner. Unfortunately, I don't remember his name, but he told us the story behind all the dishes and truly made us feel at home. Thank you so much!

Il Calice e la Stella è una gemma luminosa piccola e nascosta ma in grado di riempirti il cuore oltre che la pancia! Il padrone di casa Felice non è uno chef è qualcosa in più: un curioso ed appassionato ricercatore di sapori antichi riproposti in modo nuovo con grande attenzione alla qualità delle materie prime e della loro origine locale. Felice , il padrone di cucina, ti accoglie con cordialità ed in lui traspare la passione per quello che fa ( e lo fa bene!). Abbiamo mangiato bene e con un ottimo rapporto prezzo/qualità in un locale incastonato nelle vecchie mura di Canepina. Ottimi il Fieno ( i maccheroni) , i ceciliani, il bio uovo, il semifreddo alla nocciola, fantastica l'insalatina di stagione ma credo che tutti i piatti siano speciali. Eccellente rapporto prezzo qualità. Servizio preciso e cordiale. Insomma anche se Canepina è un po' fuori mano un pasto da Felice vale il viaggio.

Il Calice e la Stella è una garanzia. Ottimi piatti da gustare, dall'antipasto al dolce, location dove riesci a gustare i vari sapori in tranquillità, atmosfera soft, perfetta per una cena da trascorrere rilassando la mente. Servizio eccellente con Felice perfetto padrone di casa pronto ad illustrarti i vari piatti presenti nel menù...in poche parole tutto perfetto!
