I had a successful meal of my first T-bone steak in Florence, the birthplace of the dish. The wild boar pasta was also delicious. The staff were so friendly and attentive, and I was grateful for their thorough answers to every question. I'll never forget my last dinner in Florence. Grazie!

It was a positive experience. The food was very good, the grandmother's cake was excellent. The atmosphere was welcoming, and the staff were kind and courteous. We'll be back.

Locale accogliente, personale gentile e attento.specialmente la ragazza che ci ha saputo consigliare i loro piatti tipici, forse si è presentata amichevolmente come Adriana,e consigliato anche i dolci fatti da lei...e che dire... Tutto ottimo . Peccato essere lontani da non poter andare più sovente e ogni volta scegliere una specialità diversa!...ma prima o poi torneremo sicuramente 👍

Abbiamo fatto visita al duomo nel pomeriggio, poi ci siamo ritrovati davanti all agricola toscana, e abbiamo deciso di cenare , abbiamo ordinato subito la bistecca in costata ,deliziosa al sangue come piace a noi ,frullata al punto giusto accompagnata con delle deliziose patate al forno, e abbiamo concluso con i dolci fatti da loro ....personale accogliente e preparato grazie ci torneremo

02/11/2025: Excellent food, lovely location, and even the service! Very generous portions and fair prices! Highly recommended are the vegetable soup and the peposo (which tasted a bit like stew).

Ristorante Il Castello

04/11/2025: Had an excellent meal with a group. The service was superb with the manager being incredibly hospitable and welcoming. She made sure we were looked after while we were waiting for a late arrival. The food itself with superb, the arancini special antipasto and rabbit secondi were exceptional. All of the group agreed that this was the best restaurant we'd eaten at during our many visits to Certaldo.
17/10/2025: Went to the food fair last week, but preferred to have a real decent dinner - and dropped in there. Food was fine, wine list is extensive, service was nice - especially the padrone, who had time for a nice chat, recommendations - and even brought me my forgotten basecap even to the train! I definitely recommend this venue.
