A beautiful property surrounded by greenery. The owner is incredibly kind; you can immediately tell he loves his job. Local produce is used. A place that takes you away from reality, both for the beauty that surrounds you and the quality of the food served. I think I made the best choice for the location, the food, and the staff. My mom was so happy to celebrate her birthday here. Congratulations again!

A fantastic restaurant, out in the countryside. Beautiful ambiance, with a very attentive staff. We were here with our young children, and they were very friendly and accommodating. The food was very, very good! They grill fresh food outside. The food is also very healthy and reasonably priced. We highly recommend it!

Friendly and helpful staff, quality products, delicious burrata and cheeses at reasonable prices. The meats are also excellent, with a good variety, including the blended beef steaks, which are definitely worth a try.

Positive experience, good food, and flawless service. It would be even nicer if all the tables were set out in the garden, surrounded by greenery, with softer, more diffused lighting instead of the current "stadium lights" 😂😂. With that added touch of charm, the atmosphere would be truly perfect. All in all, a lovely evening.

01/01/2026: I checked the TripAdvisor reviews before booking. 99% were positive. Out of curiosity, I looked at the 1% with negative reviews. The user review "Parisian chef with bossy wife," a true script for an episode of an Italian comedy, convinced me to book. At lunchtime, I introduced myself as a friend of the "Parisian chef." The manager, described by the Parisian chef's wife as "aggressive, misogynistic, and lacking in charm and elegance," and we laughed about the incident. We ate very well, spent the right amount, and returned the next day to try other dishes. You can't stroll through the heart of Lecce's historic center and not stop at Locanda del Ballerino. The origin of its name is already a story worth telling. If you decide to go, introduce yourself as a friend of the "Parisian chef with bossy wife." 😉😂

18/03/2026: Kudos to the guys who work there! Delicious pizzas and a wide selection, and they're quickly refilled if they run out, giving everyone a chance to try them. Kudos to the guys for their endless patience, especially when dealing with a Saturday dinner rush with certain types of customers. The place is small inside, and you can't always find a table outside, but you can order takeout and eat it sitting in Piazzetta Santa Chiara or at a table. I highly recommend it, especially for the quality/price ratio, which, considering it's in the historic center, isn't bad at all—in fact, quite the opposite. The pizza with honey-marinated potatoes is definitely a must-try!
16/03/2026: Small but functional location. Good quality and variety of pizzas. Prices are slightly higher than usual.
