You immediately notice Francesco's passion for his work. The outdoor veranda welcomes summer dinners with sobriety and elegance, every aspect is taken care of down to the smallest detail but without exaggerating with unnecessary frills, attention is dedicated to the raw materials and the service. The staff and the sweet Giulia welcome you with kindness and attention, from starters to desserts. Our dinner went smoothly and without delays, despite the confusion and the booked tables, I underline that we ordered a fish main course, a fish first course and two pizzas, all of which arrived together. The raw material is of excellent quality, very fresh, but above all worked by hands who know what they are doing. The tomato sauce for the mussels was SPECTACULAR, fresh sauce, no canned or prepared foods, not to mention the mussels... Delicious spaghetti with clams, with a final, light note of grated lemon zest that leaves your mouth pleasantly "clean" ". We concluded with a tiramisu and a decomposed cannoli, a worthy conclusion I would say. The desire to do, to grow are the strengths of this new management, which was already known for its delicious pizzas, but which is demonstrating its desire and ability to enter the world of catering at a certain level. Well done guys!!!

Simple place with the possibility of dining inside or outside...very popular. We went there for the pizzolo which was good...but not as good as the one eaten years ago by the Nuns in Sortino. Not much choice...but not bad. Maybe we should have tried the restaurant 😬

20/12/2024: I would have gladly given 5 stars, but last night, for the first time, I can say in my life, given that it is a place I have always frequented with my parents, I was a little perplexed. My doubts concern the recent addition of the use of tables at the entrance of the restaurant which, if they had not been usable, we would not have been able to sit down to dine. The divider that you call the tables by the door is not enough to protect the diners who are on this side from the cold, especially with customers who arrive and have the right to keep the door open because they and then children are constantly coming in and out. Furthermore, the divider is light enough that upon a first "investment" it opened and fell, risking falling on the people at the table, therefore I would suggest adapting this small and lovely niche. In this area, in fact, there are still ancient tables covered with glass under which beautiful black and white photos have been inserted and the benches on which to sit are comfortable thanks also to the presence of cushions. Friendly staff and excellent pizza. I would like the rustic and warm environment in itself to continue to be so. For me, Amassaria feels like home.
