A bright, well-kept location, enriched with lovely details. Spacious tables adorned with charming placemats, flowers, and ceramics. Generous portions of excellent food prepared with seasonal ingredients. I highly recommend it.

They say "the devil is in the details," but here I'd rather say every detail is divine: exquisite cured meats as an appetizer, served with a few mushrooms and artichokes in oil; I ask for a salad and they tell me "only greens," yes, but with the addition of two raspberries, a fig, and three grapes... the meat is excellent quality, with a side of delicious potatoes and vegetables. Not to mention the apple crumble with vanilla ice cream... DEFINITELY "DULCIS IN FUNDO." All topped off in a family-friendly yet equally delicious atmosphere, with just the right amount of irony. Thank you, a special Sunday thanks to you and Bordano's farfalle :)

After the kitchen closed, we were served a cold dinner, a cheese and ham platter, salad, and a delicious pistachio pie before closing time. We received a very kind welcome, and everything was truly delicious.

A good place if you're stopping in those parts... a place that rhymes with Friuli (see tomato frico, among their offerings) but whose daily offerings deviate a bit from the traditional ones. Here, for example, you can find "pepper tart with anchovies and buffalo mozzarella" (a perfect dish in my opinion) or for a first course: tonnarelli with squid ink and potatoes... (not a bad portion either). A dish that satisfied me and maybe at the next stop, assuming the conditions achieved so far remain unchanged, capable of snatching another star from me. The interior is very pleasant and inviting; I hope they continue to do so, or at least I hope so.
Oh, I forgot, I thought it was implicit, but it's better to describe it: welcoming, attentive, scrupulous management who knows how to make the customer feel at ease.
Returning after some time, I found the place as already described in the previous review (if not better), dishes above average in taste and inventiveness at a reasonable price... a place that I would still define (for the decor and a bit of everything) of "contained extravagance"... a must stop if you're in the area.
