Affori ristorante In Milano

Saturday lunch. We ordered risotto alla Milanese with ossobuco and braised beef with polenta. Both were truly excellent. The portions were just right and filling. The cheesecake with ganache was also excellent. Highly recommended for these dishes, a must-try in Affori.

Food was incredible but service was mildly unwelcoming having been shown upstairs to a completely empty floor despite unreserved space in the main seating area. The food was incredible and the rib steak very recommended but the atmosphere was somewhat muted due to the seating location.

A spacious and welcoming restaurant in Affori, with a pleasant atmosphere where you can enjoy a relaxed lunch or dinner. The potatoes looked good, but they were clearly overcooked and not fresh, while the fish fillet was dry. I tried the seafood linguine: it was plentiful and tasty. The food overall was good, but nothing special, not really impressive. The staff also seemed tired, though they remained courteous. Overall, an average place, good if you're in the area, but not a must-visit.

I ordered a pistachio and mozzarella pesto pizza...there was no pesto and when I complained they were not very kind, they didn't ask if I wanted anything else and they didn't offer the slightest discount on the final bill...maybe I should have sent it back to the kitchen instead of eating it...you missed out on a truly trivial matter!

Recommended by friends and family, I tried it last night. Everything was really excellent, in particular we ate appetizers (tuna tartare with a taralli crumble and octopus with potatoes) and fish first courses (the linguine are really tasty), accompanied by an excellent wine that was also offered to us in a bottle/half bottle or glass, leaving us the possibility of drinking with the moderation we wanted. I must say that everything was perfect, the service is between formal and welcoming, the place is intimate and well air conditioned. I want to go back in a milder temperature to see the garden that is spoken well of. I only noticed in certain moments a slightly insistent service, but I realize that can happen on certain evenings, therefore it does not affect a high rating.
