Acquolina Ristorante In Roma

This was an easy 5 * , the atmosphere was amazing , minimal and chic. We chose the fish menu and I was impressed of the tastes and the smell. I didn t really like the desserts but this is my personal taste as I am not a fan of lemon and I hate rose water. At the end the sweets that comes from the restaurant are amazing I loved the cinnamon baklava. The waiter realised I did not eat the previous deserts so he brought for me a second round from the one I liked. The service was incredible, we did not have to search for them or to ask something, they were one step ahead always. Amazing experience. Well done I forgot to mention we did the wine pairing and it really worth it.

Il posto giusto per una serata speciale. Abbiamo preso il menù Periplo e sicuramente l'esperienza merita. Tra i piatti che mi hanno maggiormente colpito Ostrica, veramente eccezionale, e Tortello cacio e pepe, ma da segnare anche gli amuse bouche iniziali, veramente pazzeschi. Unica nota critica: abbiamo preso due aperitivi analcolici e non erano assolutamente all'altezza.

E' uno dei migliori ristoranti italiani (2 stelle Michelin). Al piano terra di un hotel di lusso tra Via del Corso ed il lungotevere. Due menù degustazione di altissima qualità orientati sul pescato (ma non esclusivamente). Eccellenti il servizio di sala, la cantina e la mixologia. Aperto solo la sera, ovviamente conviene prenotare visto che i tavoli sono meno di una decina. Vale un viaggio.

Amazing experience. The place is very comfortable, with a few tables and a very kind and punctual service. I couldn't have the regular wine pairing because I had to drive and they arranged for me a reduced wine pairing to cover multiple dishes. I really appreciated the wine choices and explanations, always detailed but still clear even if you are not a wine expert. Dishes were simply amazing but I'd like to mention a few of them that in my opinion were standing out: - Topinambur - My favourite. It's amazing how the chef could take a simple ingredient and transform it into something different. It looked like a real artichoke. Crispy on top, warm and tender on the bottom. The mint usage was absolutely perfect. - Garum - We are mostly talking about bread but omg, that potato bread was absolutely insane. I could eat it every day and never be tired of it. - Red mullet, duck, cherries - I love red mullet and this interpretation was amazing, perfectly combined with duck, with cherries completing the picture. It's an expensive restaurant but I strongly recommend it because everything is close to perfection.
