There's a long wait before you get a table, but the wait continues even after you've ordered. The dining room is small, and you're sitting on the street outside... so you can draw your own conclusions.

A very rustic place, stuck in the '90s. The atmosphere is very spartan: we ate practically in the corridor, next to the ice cream refrigerator, with people constantly passing from one room to another. The service is very basic, unexciting, and quite reserved, but not unpleasant. Let's just say it's consistent with the type of place. There were a few oversights (like the serving dishes never arriving, cutlery being requested multiple times). However, beyond that, the food pleasantly surprised me: everything was very good, from the horse meat to the sausages. A note on the spicy sausage: it's really very spicy. I can handle spiciness well, but this is a high level; perhaps it's worth mentioning. Overall, I'm still happy I went; they could do a little better with hygiene, but that's okay; it's one of those very simple yet authentic places.

Acceptable dinner. The horse meat was excellent, the sausage was too strong for my taste, and the meatballs were good. The service was slow, and we often had to ask several times for drinks and bread. Overall, it was acceptable.

Truly everything is excellent; it's a go-to for me. Every time I pass through Catania, I order a slice of horse meat and a specially made meatball. Even though the wait may seem long, it's worth it. While the meat cooks on the grill, you can enjoy a glass of good wine and a chat. I recommend it to all foodies.

The Chipollata was simply brilliantly delicious, I can only recommend it, the horse meat was also delicious and there was a lot of it.
