I don't understand how this place that had the best ice cream in Udine can be closed. I hope I'm temporarily alone. The ice cream was of maximum creaminess with very mild, pure and natural tastes, without being too mixed with sugars or additives.

A very nice ice cream shop in the center of Udine, I think it's the best of all the ones in the centre. I go there very often, my favorite flavour? Salted caramel! Wow! Well done

As a Sicilian I will tell you... I loved the Modica coppa Mix of very creamy and beautiful vegan ice creams to look at. Perfect consistency of the ice cream, as well as its duration. Prices normal, for being in the north I'll be back in the next few days 💪🏻

Excellent quality. Top ingredients genuinity. Extraordinary Wide choice for vegan. Nearby is Piazza Primo Maggio designed by Gino Valle and San Francesco church. A great occasion to experience tasteful ice creams and special Udine's architecture.

La Accademia Del Gelato está situada a solo unos pasos del centro de Udine y merece la pena visitar una casa hecha de helados de primera calidad en una impresionante selección de sabores. Buen personal. Sentarse fuera para disfrutar del helado en el ocio. Hacemos un punto de tomar un helado en la Academia Del Gelato cuando estamos de visita en Udine. In my opinion the best ice cream shop in Friuli for variety, flavours, seasonality, novelties, and respect for the raw material as well as proposals without added sugars / various allergens.

We arrived in the city in the evening and the next afternoon we stayed longer, but we visited this ice cream parlor twice, it's so good and cozy! The range is divinely delicious, large and exciting!

Bravo, what quality for the ice creams, and when the waitress smiles the ice cream has only sublimated it made an alt and above all don't be fooled by its appearance too serious it is magnificent (the ice cream of course).

04/01/2025: We really enjoyed our time at this restaurant! We ate delicious and genuine local dishes (the best cotechino ever!) and even our little one really enjoyed the pasta with meat sauce prepared in record time after our arrival. The staff was very kind and made us feel welcomed and pampered. An ideal place for families with small children, like ours, also due to the presence of a changing table in the bathroom and a solid and comfortable high chair. We also found the value for money very good. Thanks again for everything!

Al Fogolar Rooms & Osteria

10/12/2024: My experience describes the restaurant part as I have not stayed. Extensive menu, diversified between vegetable-based and meat-based meals. Friendly service and respects waiting times. This time we ate from the workers' menu (Pasqualupo), with €13 each we ate first course, second course and side dish. Water and wine included. In total we paid 32 taking into account a dessert divided into two and 2 coffees. If you pass by, it's a shame not to stop.
04/11/2024: Historic Carnic "environment". The fogolar is there and is the attraction of the entrance hall, giving a further feeling of welcome. The dining room has a built-in kitchen with hanging cauldrons, recalling the Friulian tradition. Consequently, the menu presents typical dishes, with some reinterpretations and "external" additions. Small detail: you don't pay for bread or cover charge. On weekdays, menu of the day is available at a truly competitive price. Advised.
