Excellent value for money with an essentially All You Can Eat formula. The owner, very kind, opened the place just for us (we had booked a few days before)!

My girlfriend and I are now regular customers so we know this place well: it is an Ethiopian restaurant with a fixed menu formula where you are given a taste of various hot dishes, served on a sort of typical flat and spongy bread (injera bread), ranging from spicy to slightly spicy but still very tasty; all preceded by a small welcome appetizer. At the end of the tasting, you can ask for a second helping of the dish (or dishes, if your stomach is that big) that you liked the most. The place is furnished in an ethnic style that makes you immediately feel in the right atmosphere, with references to the land of origin of the cuisine. A special appreciation then goes to the owner, the tireless cook of the place, who knows how to make you feel at home with her welcoming and genuine way of doing things. The price is reasonable, around €25 per person (desserts and drinks are not included in the fixed menu). Even though we know the menu by heart, we will never tire of returning, both for gluttony and because it has become a second home for us.

davvero una bella esperienza, per chi come me, preda del mal d'Africa, voleva tornare a respirare una atmosfera piacevole. Locale delizioso, dove la simpatica e gentile proprietaria, assistita dal figlio che si occupa della sala, cucina deliziosamente piatti tipici della tradizione etiope, in una modalità "all you can eat" che consente di assaggiare un'ampia varietà di pietanze, davvero gustose e piacevoli: dopo l'antipasto, servito in una serie di ciotoline che formavano un fiore, dove ogni petalo faceva assaggiare una specialità diversa, avremo provato almeno 6 pietanze, ciascuna accompagnata da un contorno (cereali, legumi o verdure) servite su una base di pane injera, tipico africano, dalla consistenza un po' spugnosa e sapore delicato, che ben si sposa con i sapori forti e abbastanza speziati della cucina africana. Da ripetere sicuramente, magari di martedì per gustare il cous cous di pesce!!

Scoperto per caso, questo ristorante consente di immergersi in un'atmosfera fatta di sorrisi, cordialità, attenzione per il cliente e passione per il cibo. A un prezzo decisamente competitivo, è possibile provare qualcosa di nuovo con un menù fisso molto vario. I bellissimi sorrisi della proprietaria e di suo figlio in sala fanno poi la differenza. Sicuramente torneremo.
