An excellent dinner at Tavernetta Cinquantotto, a restaurant that perfectly combines a traditional Neapolitan atmosphere with a modern and refined touch. The tuff interiors and soft lighting create a warm and welcoming atmosphere, ideal for both a romantic dinner and a special occasion.
The menu offers seafood and meat dishes, with the freshest ingredients and never boring combinations. The appetizers are excellent, balanced in flavor and presentation; the first courses are a must-try, where tradition meets a touch of creativity.
The service is impeccable: courteous staff, well-timed courses, and great attention to detail. The quality/price ratio is also excellent, considering the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience.

🍋 Return to Meta: Emotions and Haute Cuisine at Tavernetta 58
We returned to Tavernetta 58, and once again, the experience was simply extraordinary. Raffaele, the owner, welcomed us with his usual kindness, his smile and attention to detail making every guest feel at home.
Claudio accompanied us to the table, offering impeccable service and extraordinary guidance on a true tasting journey through creativity and tradition.
We began with two appetizers that were a concentration of originality and technique:
Essenza di Parmigiana, an eggplant in osmosis stuffed with Agerola provola, breaded with its peel powder and panko breadcrumbs—a play of textures and flavors that reinterprets a great classic with a modern twist.
Octopus cooked at a low temperature with garlic and thyme, then glazed with teriyaki sauce and covered with a glaze made from the octopus's cooking water: a surprising dish, balanced and full of personality.
For wine, we chose Biancolella di Ischia, a native white grape of the island: fragrant, elegant, and perfect to accompany the entire meal.
The first courses lived up to expectations (and even exceeded):
Tortello alla genovese, with a soft and flavorful filling, served over a velvety and intense Parmesan fondue.
Terra Mare, a masterpiece: pasta buttons filled with Vico Equense caciocavallo cheese and shellfish bisque, with clams, raw scampi, and flavored green olive oil. A dish that elegantly and harmoniously expresses the territory between the sea and the hills.
To conclude on a sweet note, two unforgettable desserts:
Tiramisu, classic but perfectly executed.
Ricordi Siciliani, a poem of flavors: creamy ricotta encased in a cylinder wrapped in pistachio icing, with chocolate chips, candied orange, and a crispy cannoli shell.
Special praise goes to Chef Pasquale, a true interpreter of signature cuisine that combines technique, passion, and respect for the raw ingredients.
In short: Tavernetta 58 is an unmissable stop for those seeking a refined yet authentic gastronomic experience, in a welcoming setting with meticulous attention to detail.

A truly excellent gastronomic experience! The dishes have a refined elegance both in taste and presentation — beautifully balanced and full of flavor.
We enjoyed the pasta, risotto, and tortelli, each perfectly prepared and deeply satisfying. The desserts exceeded our expectations, especially the lemon one and the tiramisu — absolutely delightful!
There was a thoughtful selection of wines, and we appreciated the amuse-bouches served both with the main course and dessert.
The only minor note was a brief noise from the kitchen (dishwashing area) that lasted no more than five minutes — a small detail in an otherwise flawless experience.
The value for money is exceptional for such high-quality cuisine. Highly recommended!

The service was lovely and the ambiance of the restaurant was nice. I really believe that the chef has great intentions and I love all the effort they put into their dishes - just for some reason it wasn’t hitting the spot. The bread and bread sticks were amazing! The olive oil was really good but we wanted access to the entire bottle (maybe we’re the problem). We ordered the amberjack which we thought was a bit overcooked and served on sweet potato mash (maybe). I LOVED the seafood risotto but the texture was off. Finally, we risked it and got the carpaccio cannolis - which was a weird flavor profile since it was just beef and lettuce. Also, they sat me next to the door that lead out to the outdoor patio which was really loud and was highly trafficked. I don’t think that’s a good spot for a table since every door slam I felt.

Everything about our experience here was perfect. We were brought outside to a beautiful area surrounded by trees and the food was amazing, especially the shades of lemon dessert which was the perfect end to the meal. Everyone that worked here was so kind as well. They made us feel welcome and patiently answered all of our questions. If I am ever back in the area on a future trip I would definitely come back here!

Simply a perfect restaurant! The cuisine is beyond praise, everything is VERY tasty plus beautiful presentation and dishes. Amazing staff, always compliments from the chef. A gorgeous courtyard with a cozy atmosphere. I am absolutely delighted and want to come back!
