'A Taverna Dò Rè In Napoli

La Taverna sembra un posto turistico per la posizione centrale e vicino al Municipio ma non lo è. Se vi focalizzate sui piatti della tradizione napoletana non sarete affetto delusi. Noi abbiamo assaggiato dei mezzanelli alla genovese con la cipolla cotta come deve essere (forse la carne che l'accompagnava poteva essere cotta un pò più a lungo ed essere sfilacciata per amalgamarsi meglio col sugo) e una strepitosa braciola col ragù denso e corposo proprio come la faceva mia Mamma. Buone anche le melanzane fritte in accompagnamento. Pastiera fatta in casa deliziosa. Proprietari gentilissimi ed estremamente simpatici (quando gli abbiamo chiesto dove avessero preso il pane perchè ci era piaciuto assai, ce ne hanno regalato un filoncino). Insomma un posto proprio come in famiglia, per chi vuol mangiare bene in un'atmosfera di trattoria vecchia scuola. Prezzo contenutissimo (10€ per ognuno dei due piatti provati mi sembra veramente nulla, considerando che erano tanto abbondanti da valere per due porzioni). Ci torneremo sicuramente perchè qui abbiamo sentito il cuore meraviglioso dei napoletani.

Located in the alley adjacent to the Mercadante Theater and a stone's throw (in the true sense of the word) from Piazza Municipio, A Taverna Do Rè fully reflects its name! In fact, the welcoming venue looks like a real traditional Neapolitan tavern, with its home-made colors and scents. The structure is on two levels plus an outdoor space, ideal for a characteristic lunch in the "Neapolitan alley" illuminated by the Neapolitan sun. The lower room is characterized by the presence of the pizza oven, a warm and engaging environment. The proximity to the pizza counter and the oven creates a perfect symbiosis with the pizza chef Luciano, a true dough professional who "accommodates" your tastes with love and passion. You are sitting at the table waiting for the pizza, experiencing the same wait as participation in the preparation: the disk of dough that turns and rolls out before your eyes, the always fresh ingredients cut on the spot and the scent that emanates from the oven. The pizza is excellent, with light dough and high quality products that are always fresh. Also worth trying are the panuozzi and the padellino, which is a crunchy pizza to be filled as you prefer, characterized by being cooked twice in the oven. The upper room, however, is more reserved but at the same time "engaging". The environment is characterized by the presence of numerous bottles of wine and the enveloping scent of typical Neapolitan traditional dishes. Smells that whet the appetite: Genoese, ragù, cod... The kitchen, in fact, precedes and is adjacent to the room. The sight of the dishes being prepared by chef Francesco, tradition and innovation, are an invitation to tasting! Annalisa, sommelier, is a perfect hostess who advises you and directs you in your choice. Massimo, on the other hand, manages the rooms and welcomes the guests of the tavern with his "Neapolitan style". Excellent selection of wines and craft beers, highly recommended is the Vesuvian Craft Beer with Catalanesca grape must (typical Vesuvian grape), a unique flavour, due to the fusion of malts and grape must, to try both with pizza and other dishes sea". This review is the summary of dozens and dozens of culinary experiences at the Taverna, in fact for years the place has been the "safe place" for the work lunch break, for evenings with friends and lunches with the family! My partner and I ate at this restaurant on the last evening of our holiday in Naples, and it made us want to stay longer. All the dishes we ate were delicious, the staff were super knowledgeable, friendly and kind, making us have a wonderful evening! The right bill for what we consumed. We will definitely be back!

The best Mom and pop restaurant off the beaten track All natural ingredient pizza I've ever tasted ! Fantastic platter of mixed seafood antipasti was in 7th heaven I've never had a 3 hour lunch before..I can get used to this .... a must try restaurant 5 star *****..grazie mille !

Comme il a été écrit justement par d'autres commentateurs, petit restaurant sympa un peu à l'écart dans une petite ruelle près de la Piazza del Municipio. C'est pas le grand luxe, mais c'est sympa. Bon accueil et gentille carte. Vin à des prix abordables. D'autres se plaindront d'une vue imprenable sur les poubelles, mais nous sommes à Naples (la ville de tous les possibles et de l'hygiène par définition douteuse) .... L'endroit est calme (petite ruelle à l'écart) et, pour ce qui nous a concernés (groupe de 5 amis), le service était très correct. A ne pas négliger pour une pizza ou une assiette de pâtes tranquilles entre deux visites
