The food was fine. The meat was nice and soft, and the sauce in my girlfriend's dish added a nice flavour.
The lemon gel was basically frozen lemon juice which was meh (but then, it's kind of to be expected). The cannolo was nice, not the absolute best, but I was happy with it.
The staff is nice and friendly, and the place feels very local out of the way of the main tourism sites.

A lovely find in Modica! An authentic experience we were looking for in our 2-week trip in Italy. Everything was delicious, well-made and splendid.
We got the house appetiser, pasta alla Norma, meatballs, and the pork cooked in sauce.

It was recommended to us by our host. I recommend booking because it's popular and seats are limited. The food is homemade. Good, but what blew me away were the desserts. The gelato was delicious and perfectly balanced. The best I've had so far. Really well done!

A typical restaurant in the narrow streets of Modica, welcoming and authentic. Excellent Sicilian cuisine, with generous and tasty dishes. The staff is knowledgeable and helpful, and the owner, Giuseppe, is incredibly friendly and makes the experience even more enjoyable. Not to be missed!

A typical local restaurant, focusing on traditional Modica and Sicilian dishes. I'm originally from the area and rediscovered the flavors of my youth with potato balls, arancini, and excellent ricotta ravioli with pork stew. The lolli with fava beans and cavati are also excellent. Very fair prices. Recommended if you're passing through Modica!

In un locale tradizionale , si quelli che non esistono ormai più , abbiamo trovato accoglienza gentilezza, buon vino sfuso , menu genuino semplice tradizionale squisito .

Questo locale storico entra di prepotenza tra i posti del cuore.
Dopo una breve camminata a piedi si raggiunge l’ingresso di una putia del vino, un luogo dove si mesceva vino, accompagnato dal classico uovo sodo.
Location gradevole, tovaglie a quadri, oggetti della tradizione contadina, ma andiamo al solo: dall’antipasto al dolce trovi piatti del territorio, profumi e sapori di casa, dai formaggi, all’antipasto caldo, ai primi, ai legumi, al sugo, momento in cui con polpette e salsiccia si raggiunge la perfezione.
Chiusura con biancomangiare e cannolo.
Ottimo rapporto qualità/quantità/prezzo, non vedo l’ora di tornarci per provare le restanti portate del menù…
