The service, friendliness, and helpfulness are top-notch. First of all, everything we ate was delicious, and I don't want to talk about the prices because if you eat well, you have to pay. Unfortunately, the downside is the small portions, considering it's a trattoria, and the extremely slow service between courses. I also didn't receive a side dish, which the kitchen forgot, and which was later removed from the bill at my request.

Very nice and welcoming atmosphere, typical Sicilian food but high-quality, decent portions, fresh food. I recommend the homemade desserts, a real treat. I recommend booking in advance.

A typical Catania trattoria, La Midicana serves excellent first courses. Delicious meat main courses are served freshly roasted with a choice of salads (grandmother's salad is recommended). The appetizers include cooked vegetables, peperonta, parmigiana, local cheeses, and cured meats, all of which are a delight to the palate. All accompanied by a glass of wine from local wineries, recommended by Salvo. Enjoy your meal!
