We got married on September 6th at Castello Pinelli Gentile (Tagliolo). We asked Federica, who accompanied us for our wedding, for the name of the Chef (Alcide), so we could personally thank her and her team for their exceptional work. Not only did we taste the excellent quality of the products she selected and of Piedmontese cuisine, but she also introduced 21 different nationalities from around the world to the goodness and simplicity of her cuisine. Serving agnolotti del plin, tagliolini, and tagliata di Fassona to 127 people while always maintaining—and we emphasize—quality, with hot, beautifully presented, and perfectly cooked dishes, we believe was a very difficult task, one in which she truly excelled. Our guests, both Italian and international, including sommeliers and food experts, were fascinated by her cuisine and gave us many compliments to pass on. We have attended several weddings in Italy and around the world, but such a high standard is truly rare. We wish her much success, and hope she continues to love her work as it shines through in every dish, and we thank her again: we will carry those flavors in our hearts forever. Exceptional location. Superb service from competent and very helpful staff.

I had lunch on August 15th and didn't use the rooms. The restaurant is very beautiful, with outdoor seating and a large living room. The potato and porcini mushroom tart and the ricotta-stuffed zucchini flowers are special.
