I organized a birthday lunch here for 12 people. It was just perfect! Exquisite dishes, plentiful and well presented, professional but warm and welcoming service and what about the availability and patience of the chef in choosing the menu and my endless requests? Truly an unforgettable party, thank you very much ♥️

An experience to definitely repeat! Matteo and his staff are nice and kind, excellent and super fast service! Delicious dishes, really highly recommended... I'm allergic to shellfish and yet I was able to eat everything by notifying in advance when booking... thank you very much, see you next time ❤️

Dopo vari tentativi siamo riusciti a venire a cena in questo localino piccolo a conduzione familiare. Posto fresco e iniziamo con tanti assaggini di antipastini di mare, molto buono il polpo e le cozze poi ci hanno portato una fregola a base mare saporita e abbondante, per secondo una bella frittura mista abbondante e sfiziosa. Locale da prenotare con largo anticipo e qualità prezzo da fare invidia a molti locali. Ottimo e consiglio di venirci.

13/10/2024: I was especially intrigued by seeing the excellent reviews, so during my accommodation in Villasimius I decided to try it. I thought I was eating a good sandwich, but I didn't think I was eating an EXCEPTIONAL sandwich!! The owner is very kind and the second time we were there he made us feel as if we had been regular customers for years, because after trying it once we obviously came back! Absolutely worth trying.
08/10/2024: It was the most delicious food I tried on this island. The service was excellent and the staff was very kind. I recommend!

27/11/2024: No restaurant is ever perfect! But the La Taverna di Castello restaurant in via Barcellona in Cagliari, among the many that I have tried in the surrounding streets, comes very close, indeed very close to perfection!! Starting from the appetizers, to the first and second seafood courses, nothing is left to chance. Succulent and abundant portions, with the possibility of eating either inside the restaurant in a rustic and well-kept environment, or outside where, with the temperatures still warm this autumn, it is still pleasant to stay outdoors. The owner is very hospitable, professional and at the same time very attentive to the customer's needs. Imagine that, while waiting for our table to be free for dinner, he joined us with a nice prosecco to make the passing of time less burdensome. Location, food, service, hospitality at the top! 20/10/2024: La comida era genial. Ambos estábamos contentos con nuestras comidas. El servidor era muy amable y servicial. Tienen una gran zona de comedor interior y también mesas exteriores.
