Yesterday we went to this restaurant for lunch. Since it was Sunday and it was very crowded outside, they decided to seat us in a small indoor dining room. Upon arrival, we were greeted rather coldly by one of the waiters, who initially wanted to seat us at a table for two despite there being three of us and plenty of space in the dining room. Only after we asked for a larger table did he accommodate us, but in a rather annoyed manner, probably because we weren't local. Unfortunately, there were several unpleasant incidents during lunch: a dirty fork at the beginning, the menu not explained properly as was done at other tables, and, most seriously, a huge piece of plastic in the wine glass. Part of the wine was neither replaced nor accompanied by an apology, which none of the waiters ever provided. At the end of the meal, the bill came to €153, without being offered coffee or an apology. We won't be returning. The only positives were the quality of the food and the gentleman who came to sing in the dining room.

Birthday dinner. Very high expectations. We were looking for a decent little place. Sadly disappointed. I ordered tagliolini with scampi. I had a hard time chewing them. They were definitely undercooked. The sauce was very salty. The same taste was found in the paccheri with lobster that my companion ordered... (The lobster was almost as big as my scampi... the price definitely needs reconsidering...) Inside, next to the stairs, there was a lot of clutter in plain sight... I definitely won't be returning. It's a shame, I always follow the place on Instagram and it seemed much better.

I've been wanting to try this restaurant's food for a while. I've seen so many great reviews, and while I'm not entirely satisfied with my opinion, I'm not saying the fish isn't fresh. The raw fish appetizers were sparse and quite expensive. The octopus was good, the tagliolini were flavorless, the mussels were small, and I didn't like the terrace setting at all. The waiters were attentive but unprofessional. Seeing them split the tips among themselves wasn't exactly nice, and splitting it between Italians and the other foreign waiters was nothing. I'd say it's a restaurant for tourists, but the overall quality is lacking, which is why I give it a 3.

Excellent place, quality products, very fresh fish, kind and courteous staff, the dishes were so good I could have eaten two plates. Highly recommended.

I don't think it could be more typical than this... We had lunch without a reservation, but we were welcomed and seated very quickly. We ate their famous mussel soup, and now I understand why it's so renowned! Super fresh produce, authentic cuisine, and generous portions. Thank you so much 🙏🏻 to everyone for the wonderful experience!

A truly excellent experience! We ate wonderfully, with carefully prepared, high-quality dishes. Vincenzo provided excellent service, and the staff was very kind and attentive. We'll definitely be back. Congratulations to everyone!

Zuppa di cozze squisita, insalata di mare e polipo. Piatti abbondanti e ben cucinati, pesce fresco in particolar modo il polpo. Staff cortese e attento alla clientela. Lo consiglio vivamente.

22/09/2025: A unique experience, a heavenly place. We'll be back.
19/09/2025: Vacation period from September 15th to 25th, as a couple. Characteristic place, fantastic views, beautiful clean sea, crystal clear waters, few free public beaches, small but clean and tidy. Private beaches are generally overpriced, especially considering our time of year. Parking and taxi fares for short trips are also too high. Even buses cost €5 per ticket for a 2km ride. It seems excessive to me. Very narrow and winding roads with significant climbs and descents, where even with a speed limit of 30km/h, residents (knowing the roads well) drive full blast, resulting in high risks on the curves, most of the time with no visibility. Also, for us, who are here in the S. Angelo area, 2km away. Getting there on foot is a challenge (especially for me, a 74-year-old who's just recently had a hip replacement) with steep inclines, and long, steep steps with steps higher than normal (like Lenten penances). Our hotel also has steps everywhere, no elevator, and it's certainly not wheelchair-accessible. So, all things considered, I don't think I'll be returning to Ischia unless I find a beachfront hotel with breakfast and dinner at a decent price that won't cost me a kidney for the stay! 🤭🙄😳😉

04/01/2026: For lovers of fresh fish, this is the perfect restaurant. A very welcoming and elegant place, with a beautiful display that will spoil you for choice—all fresh, high-quality products, a wide selection, including raw fish, and a fine wine list. Prices are obviously comparable to those of the restaurant you choose, but almost fair. I highly recommend it.
25/11/2025: One of the best seafood restaurants I've ever eaten at. Super friendly and helpful staff. Highly recommended!!
