Excellent food, reasonable prices, friendly and always helpful staff

Ferragosto, the food isn't bad; the menu was okay, except for the empty montanarina that bounced off the wall and the watered-down wine (Regaleali rosé). The service is staffed by budding (not professional) young people who try their best. Access to the lower floor for the respective room is poor, both for vehicles and pedestrians. The room was filled to the point of overwhelming the two air conditioners. It was such a nightmare that it would have been better outside for a Sicilian Ferragosto 2025. I hope you can gain some insight into what hospitality and service truly mean.

I booked through TheFork, which I would have received a 20% discount. However, I'm not here to discuss the lunch, which consisted of an appetizer for two, a grilled meat for two, a side dish for two, all good quality, a beer, and a water. I don't even want to discuss the price. But I do want to discuss the intellectual honesty of the owner, who believes... I ask you if the total you quoted was a fair price. I repeat, I'm not discussing the price or the quality, as I've already expressed myself, but the honesty, which in my opinion was lacking. Between the total, given the prices of the menu you quoted, minus the 20%, which in my opinion was nonsense, if not a pretense... You asked me if I would return... Well, dear sir, I don't think so. Not because of the food, not because of the location, not because of the price I paid... But because I think it's very opaque. That said, I wish you the best of luck...

Food was really good and plenty of it! But 3 of the dishes that were ordered 1 never showed up at all and the other 2 came when everyone was done eating and we were ready to pay the check and go. When we tried to discuss this with the staff they became rude and refused to take them off the check because we no longer wanted them.

Lovely place. Fast service and friendly staff. We had lunch and despite the large turnout the food was plentiful and of excellent quality and the service was fast. The prices are affordable and the quality excellent with zero km products. We will definitely return to also enjoy the unbeatable pizza. Absolutely recommended.

À Ficurinnia (in English: the prickly pear) is a superb restaurant, located high on the side of Monte San Calogero (in Sicilian: San Caluòriu), with views towards several valleys below. We sat outside, on the beautiful walled terrace. Our food was excellent: various perfectly-grilled meats, crisp and thin chips, superb four-cheese pizza, and carafes of lovely rosé and red wines.
