Food was tasty and James’s recommendations were on point. I enjoyed my spicy carbonara. Skewers could be more flavorful but overall everything was great. The staff was attentive, free Wifi is a big plus. Fast service.

A lovely restaurant in the heart of Messina, well-run by Mr. Giamboi. I've been here for dinner three times and the food has always been excellent. Open kitchen, attractive tables, and a good wine list.

Very disappointing and unjustifiably overpriced.
The quality of the food is decent, with one downside regarding the starter: the mini eggplants, a discovery for me, have a very thick, unpleasant skin. But the quantities are ridiculous considering the price (see photos), and the fish (a simple piece of sea bream) comes with no accompaniment. The white wine is decent but served sparingly.
No lighting on the terrace except for the tiny lamp on my table. The atmosphere is gloomy with no one else around. In short, I won't bother.

I was looking for a pasta place and it was better than I expected. The pasta was top-quality and had delicious flavors. It's not commercial pasta, it's well-made. 100% recommended.

Attentive service and extremely courteous and attentive staff. Refined, well-prepared dishes with distinctive flavors. Revisited traditional cuisine. Central location next to the Duomo. Outdoor seating is available, as well as a small but welcoming indoor dining room.
