Met the family for lunch after a motorcycle ride through the mountains. The food and service were amazing. The fish was one of the best dishes I’ve had in a while. Kids loved the pasta and Pepe and the staff were delightful. Buonissimo!

Delicious food. We were looking for a place a bit more authentic than usually found around tourist places. They do not speak much English but it worked out. Loved the wine.

A mio avviso il miglior ristorante di Messina, offre soprattutto piatti ricercati ma anche alcune opzioni tradizionali come il nero di seppia e lo stocco a ghiotta, ho apprezzato molto i medaglioni di cervo e gli spaghetti integrali con cicoria, anguilla affumicata e taleggio, carta dei vini importante, servizio professionale, prezzi altini ma adeguati alla qualità proposta.

Come da titolo, ribadisco bene ma non benissimo poiché il menù, di altissima qualità e con prezzi ben superiori alla media della categoria del ristorante non rispecchia fedelmente la qualità dei piatti ma solo il prezzo! Antipasti buoni ma con rapporto qualità/prezzo insoddisfacente e primi molto modesti. Addirittura i rigatoni sono arrivati in tavola già freddi ed i paccheri tiepidi. Sarà stata "colpa" del fatto che hanno impiattato subito e poi hanno atteso che il risotto fosse pronto per servire tutti insieme gli amici in tavola? Comunque, il maitre è stato molto serio ed ha saputo raccontarci i piatti. Immagino non ci sarà un "bis" almeno nel prossimo futuro. Buon anno!

Lunch on 12/15/2024 Small welcoming environment with a restaurant located right in the center next to the cathedral. Friendly and professional staff. Separate and clean bathrooms. A not very extensive menu, mainly composed of dishes prepared with particular attention. As an entree a small slice of palamido fish surrounded by fried coconut. As an appetizer potato croquettes and cuttlefish with toasted cauliflower, both good. Afterwards we opted for rabbit in a casserole which I personally did not enjoy, pumpkin risotto and fish of the day, pauro made in a stew both good. The various desserts are particular cheesecakes with berries and chocolate, while the chocolate ricotta semifreddo is a bit disappointing. Medium-high prices.

30/06/2025: The right place in Milazzo! At Ugghiularru I felt welcomed like at home: in the kitchen there are the father and mother, two true artists of taste, while in the dining room Giuseppe, the son, is of rare courtesy. I tasted the lemon squid—simply phenomenal! The fish is very fresh, cooked with passion and mastery, and the entire menu is a tribute to the sea. If you are looking for an authentic experience, this is the right place. Highly recommended!
