My wife and I have been there several times and will definitely be back. I recommend trying the risotto (one of the many, depending on your taste), but the meat is also excellent, and make sure to save room for the homemade dessert! The atmosphere is family-friendly, with the husband in the dining room and the wife in the kitchen. If you happen to be there on a night when the place isn't busy (perhaps avoid weekends), the chef is available to chat and share their rich experience. Well done.

An embarrassing experience. I didn't find anything like what's pictured on the website. The price is very high for the little fish you get. Then, a starter and a first course were served with the same abundant tomato sauce, a bit acidic, drowning bits of fish. What a disappointment!

The atmosphere is small and charming, and the menu offers a mix of Ligurian and Piedmontese dishes. The brandacujun was excellent, very delicate and faithful to the Ligurian recipe. The risotto I chose with purple shrimp and mandarin jelly was excellent in terms of its cooking, flavors, and colors; I would have preferred it with the jelly a little less sweet.
Well done, anyway. It seems like the owner really cares about his place, so to complement this special occasion, I would suggest more appropriate attire during service.

Best restaurant in Pietra Ligure and beyond. Finally, a place where you can eat fresh, quality fish. Truly excellent dishes with innovative twists you won't find anywhere else. Friendly and knowledgeable service. Excellent value for money, hard to find at this level. A must-visit when I visit Pietra Ligure.

A delicious dinner featuring exceptional cuisine by the talented Luciana and professional service, with a warm welcome from her husband Fabrizio, who is capable, courteous, and highly competent. One of my favorite restaurants on the Western Riviera, where I happily frequent with friends, relatives, and even international guests! As a resident, I can confidently say that A Ciappa is among the best restaurants in the Western Riviera for its sheer quality and excellent value.
