I had the pleasure of eating at Ale's house for a Sunday lunch and Friday night pizza. I liked everything. Young staff, nice place, honest prices. I will come back again

At Casa Di Ale, we received excellent service and enjoyed the best pizza in the area. Highly recommended.

Having a Ferrari in your hands… and then going 40 km/h. This is the sad conclusion drawn after my lunch at Casa di Ale in via di Acqua Bullicante.
Sad because… I had so many expectations for this place and instead it was like when a child eats ice cream and then the scoop falls on the floor! Like when Algida took Winner ice cream off the market. A huge disappointment!! Nice and clean place. Indoor and outdoor dining room, very kind staff. So far, nothing to laugh about. Lunch during the week, not very crowded.
We order a portion of fried courgettes and carrots, a portion of fettuccine with their homemade pesto, a puttanesca with burrata,
a fettuccine with white wild boar ragù and a fettuccine with clams. I must point out that they only make fettuccine here, so if you have something against long pasta, it's not for you. Go elsewhere.
Fried zucchini and carrots, the worst of my life! They were basically vegetable spaghetti… mostly limp and soft. Probably because of the thickness of the vegetables. Too thin! When you make fried carrots and zucchini it is also better to make a tempura… otherwise the result is this.
I ate it because I paid for it, otherwise I assure you I would have thrown it away. It was disgusting… you couldn’t taste the vegetables because they were too thin, but only the taste of the fried food!
The first courses arrive… my husband complains overall, the almost total wrong choice of ingredients for the Puttanesca. No spicy food and green olives instead of black ones. These shortcomings totally altered the final result. Fettuccine with pesto… I didn’t see anyone who ate it being particularly satisfied… fettuccine with clams, perhaps the best one… but fettuccine doesn’t really go well with clams. In my opinion, spaghetti goes better with it! To conclude my fettuccine with white wild boar ragù. The idea was good… but the result was quite poor. The meat, however good… is still game, it should be cooked for at least 1 hour. I would say that it had been cooked right then and there… otherwise after 50 minutes, I don't think it would have still been diced!
So it wasn't a ragù but sautéed with meat.
And then the most painful note of all… practically salty dish. I am someone who eats tasty… this was one step away from being thrown in the garbage! I paid more than €12 for them… I washed them down with a bottle of water!!!!! When a dish costs €13/14… you can't afford to do such horrors. Horrors… no mistakes!! The stuff before leaving the kitchen, should be tasted!! If the boy who served the tables had asked me how it was… frankly I would have answered him in all honesty, “very bad!”. Since no one asked me anything… I went further, but if I had to recommend it to someone… frankly no. It makes me think that since we are talking about basics… frying, salting and basic ingredients of the dishes, the person in the kitchen is not really a professional but someone who woke up one morning and started being a chef. If you open a restaurant, you don't cook like at home! At home you can have the ragù salato a ferro eaten, but at €13 per dish, there is no margin for error.
The result is the loss of 4 customers and bad publicity. Therefore, there are better places in the area… and with better air conditioning.
I'm sorry, but I don't feel like recommending it and giving it a second chance, not with these prices… which may be average, but it's certainly not cheap either.

A simple place with very good food. It is a place with a paper tablecloth, informal, the staff is kind and friendly, young. We had good bruschetta well presented, on a bed of rocket, with burrata and anchovies and with burrata and broccoli. Wedges of fried artichokes, very tasty and appetizing, dry fried food. The fettuccine were really good, home-made. We had cacio e pepe and puttanesca with burrata. Service in good time, we arrived early, before 1 pm
