WONDERFUL place!! I celebrated my birthday at the castle, we visited their cellar with wine tasting, after which we had lunch in their restaurant 3 Orologi, an excellent lunch and service, very kind staff. It was a wonderful discovery I recommend the visit

We were in the area and went to see this magnificent place. The castle is private and can only be visited for special events. However, we went to visit the cellars and have lunch at the 3 clocks. Everything was beautiful, very well looked after and attentive, helpful staff.. We would like to spend a night there soon. There are 12 rooms in the medieval village attached to the castle. Worth visiting

We’ve been fortunate enough to stay at many hotels located in castles over the years; it’s sort of our “thing” when traveling through western Europe. We can say, without a doubt, CdG ranks up there with the best. Not “just one castle,” but a property encompassing its own medieval village, CdG, shines. The food is stellar, the surroundings are beautiful, and the hedge maze makes this a stand-out property.

Beautiful castle well preserved, high up on a hill overlooking the valley, attached park with hedge maze, guided tour of the historic cellar, excellent quality wines, I recommend the grignolino Il Ruvo for the quality price, still missing a bubble in the production. There are suite rooms but I have not seen them, good level restaurant, soon they will also open a spa.

This castle is an absolute gem! It’s beautifully maintained, with every corner radiating history and charm. We stayed in the Cavalcata apartment, which was both extremely spacious and wonderfully comfortable, making our stay even more enjoyable. The staff were incredibly professional and friendly, going above and beyond to ensure a great experience. The cellar tour and wine tasting are must-dos! Their “Matilde” red wine is an absolute standout. Our daughter loved exploring the maze, which was such a fun addition. The restaurant, located in one of the castle’s old surrounding buildings, is a perfect touch. They serve seasonal, local dishes that truly celebrate the area’s flavors. I can’t wait to return to try the truffle hunting with the dogs and relax by the outdoor pool in the summer. A perfect experience—I highly recommend it!

Suggestive, we had a good sunny day and no visitors. We returned 2 weeks later and at the entrance they asked us 12 euros per person to enter the park not even in the castle but in the park 😂😂😂 ridiculous!!!!! Not even in Ireland is Scotland so expensive and the castles there are certainly not like that of Gabbiano. Too bad, as always good things are managed by profiteers.
