We went to dinner with a couple of friends, everything was very good, friendly service, great attention to our friend who is gluten-free. The girl who served us accidentally spilled some wine but she was quick and very kind in managing the situation. We had a really good time, fair price.

I came back after some time with friends and everything is always perfect as usual, the staff is very kind and it is very important to feel welcomed and at ease. In particular the girl who waited for us until the end of our chat because we hadn't seen each other for a long time. Thank you^^

Original dishes while still being traditional. You can choose from several interesting options. The presentation of the dishes is very appreciable. A little more attention in the dining room to the timing and requests of the customers would be perfect. At times we had difficulty asking to order or making other requests.

Bright, pleasant place, kind and discreet staff. Varied menu, quality food, very rich wine list (with slightly excessive markups), prices in line with the reality of Bologna. Something to improve: the lasagna has too much béchamel and, above all, should not be served lukewarm (in some corners even cold), but piping hot! And the cotoletta alla bolognese, very abundant and with quality ingredients, floats in too much liquid. This does not take away from the fact that it was an overall positive experience.

5 stars seems too few for everything this restaurant stands for. The food was exceptional (and this was confirmed by all 40 women I went with, can you tell?!). The lasagna was top, something better, creamy, that melts in the mouth, I haven't eaten before. And the impeccable service - from kindness to speed! Thank you!

Ristorante consigliato dall’hotel in cui abbiamo soggiornato e prenotato dopo aver letto le recensioni. Nonostante avessimo chiamato all’ultimo, in modo cortese, ci hanno dato disponibilità di un tavolo e direi PER FORTUNA! Cena fantastica, cibo di super qualità e porzioni adeguate. Locale raffinato, servizio cordiale e ospitale. Consiglio di provare la mortadella, si scioglieva in bocca, la potete trovare come antipasto, poi continuare con tortellini in brodo o tagliatelle al ragù tutto questo accompagnato da un vino col consiglio del personale in sala e come conclusione c’è l’imbarazzo della scelta. Ps. È caduto un po’ di ragù sul maglione e non è rimasta la macchia, lo stomaco conferma, la “non pesantezza” del cibo

Siamo stati a cena martedì 14 gennaio, avevamo prenotato ed eravamo in 4. Eravamo in fiera per lavoro ed il nostro Hotel era nelle vicinanze di questo ottimo ristorante. Abbiamo preso tagliatelle al ragù normale , più una al ragù di cinghiale ed anche tortelli con il pesce. Tutti buonissimi. Classica cotoletta bolognese , davvero buona , tartare e affettati con crescenzine. Siamo rimasti sorpresi per la qualità del cibo e la cortesia dell’oste. Innovazione e tradizione vanno a braccetto e andranno molto avanti per il futuro, consigliatissimo

18/05/2025: An exceptional place! We came to dinner and had a full meal, considering that the restaurant was clean and with a very pleasant environment. The food was delicious: the dishes we enjoyed the most were the “Ozzanesi imbutini in parmesan and saffron cream with sausage” and the “Sliced ​​picanha” — unmissable! We also try a lasña a la boloñesa that we offer outside of the menu this day, and a caprese salad with a lot of flavour. The waiter was very friendly and the waitresses made an effort to communicate with us in English and Spanish, which we really appreciated. We loved the place, and also, it was only 100 meters from our hotel! _________________ An exceptional place! We went for dinner and they gave us a table right away, even though the restaurant was full and with a really nice atmosphere. The food was delicious: the dishes we liked the most were the “Imbutini ozzanesi in crema di parmigiano e zafferano con salsiccia” and the “Tagliata di picanha” — you absolutely have to try it! We also tried a lasagna alla bolognese offered off the menu for that day and a very tasty caprese salad. The owner was very friendly and the waitresses made an effort to communicate with us in English and Spanish, which we really appreciated. We loved the place, and it was only 100 meters from our hotel!

La Gallina Col Cuore di Pane

11/05/2025: It was within a few meters of the hotel where we were staying. I have to say a nice surprise. Excellent food, very kind staff, welcoming environment. And that name of the place......it seems like the title of a book to read voraciously, just as I voraciously ate their dishes. Absolutely recommended.
