It's a fantastic place. The pizza slices are thick but incredibly delicious. The tomatoes have a unique flavor. The Tiramisu is one of the best we had in Rome, Florence, and Venice during our trip to Italy. The portion is generous.

10/04/2026: We were there just before Christmas 2025 and enjoyed every minute. Great location, superb breakfast, and very friendly staff. We now have a base before Venice.

Laguna Libre

11/06/2026: This was probably the best meal we had in Venice at a reasonable price (for Venice standards). Service was a bit slow but friendly and unpretentious and the two dishes we ordered, marinated cockerel and pork shank, were delicious and well presented. The side salad was excellent as well. We had our dinner outside, next to the canal. The atmosphere was very relaxed and we weren’t eaten alive by mosquitos - but do use your mosquito repellent! As we were leaving, the jazz band had started playing inside and it looked really cool. We would happily go back to Laguna Libre for the food, the atmosphere and the live music.
08/06/2026: We were very disappointed because we had a good time; the restaurant is well located by the canal. The food was decent. The servers were very good too, but the owner seemed a bit out of it. And what a surprise it was when we checked our bill! The house wine had been charged at €37 when it was advertised at €25!
