Nothing is perfect, but here you can eat well for a reasonable price, tucked away in a small alley. The idea is, you arrive with dishes in the window and the price, you choose what you want, you are served, you pay, you sit down and you eat. Don't forget to order a drink. Of course, if you order octopus it will be a little more expensive than fried food or pasta!

Highly recommended! Gislon is always a safe bet for Venetians. From fried foods to risottos, you can eat quickly at low prices. Typical dishes. When it's crowded, it's a bit difficult to find a seat or eat standing at the counter.

Every time I visit Venice, I stop by this restaurant. I'm never disappointed; the prices are very reasonable, and the food is excellent. This time, we ate upstairs with Gioia serving us. Everything went perfectly. For me, it's a historic place, and it remains an address I'll never forget.

A place you want to come back to. Stylish interior. Very nice prices for such delicious dishes and portions of such size. If you're lucky, you can find a place at a table on the first floor (no extra charge for service). Quite noisy. Spaghetti with seafood, lasagna with seafood - dishes that make you want to come back again.

Just a few meters from the famous Rialto Bridge, we find this rotisserie offering everything and more. Prices are average considering we're in the city of Venice. The atmosphere is somewhat chaotic due to the large crowds. But it's worth it. The only downside is that I'd recommend assigning someone to clear the tables, because the large crowds allow some "smart" people to eat and leave everything on the counters. It's not a pretty sight.

09/08/2026: Was lovely meal.. Had a friendly server. Very pleasant and chatty.
26/07/2026: Seafood was so fresh and beautifully presented, lots of great flavours with the pasta dishes and brushetta was one of the best we have had in Venice. Lido has to be one of our favourite places. Finished by lemon granata as a palate cleanser. Would highly recommend for flavoursome food and a good spot for outdoor eating.

18/08/2026: It is right on the bank of the canal most visited by tourists in Murano, with a great view. The sirloin steak is not bad, but the fish fillet is served better in northern countries. After all, this is Italy. The fish was a little unsalted. The service was quick. The prices are not high.
