A place with an old-fashioned atmosphere, as if time has stood still. The famous cookies are more of a dry and crispy style, so I'm not sure it will suit everyone, but it's worth trying at least once. The attitude in the place is also a bit reminiscent of older aunts - less smiles and patience, more businesslike and direct 😄 But the cheesecake with berries? Totally worth it! One of the most delicious cakes we ate in Rome. And there's something else special about this place - it has an interesting Jewish history. There's a reason why there's salt at the entrance to the shop and why the cookies come out a little "burnt". I recommend reading about the story before you come, it makes the visit that much more special
