05/10/2025: A five-star experience, and it couldn't be otherwise. Top-notch cuisine, in a location whose architecture alone makes it worth a visit. Unfortunately, the chef wasn't there the night of our dinner; we would have happily conveyed our compliments to him verbally. The staff was extremely kind, knowledgeable, and attentive. Recommended!

01/11/2025: We booked the restaurant and had high expectations. For starters, we ordered the famous egg (we asked for one to share between two people, and they brought it already separated into two plates, which we loved!!), but we didn't think it was anything special. For the main course, we had the two gnocchi with truffle, but we found them lacking in truffle flavor and salt. Unfortunately, we left a little disappointed because we didn't like it very much, and the prices are high. On the day, we wanted to sit in the outdoor area, but they said it wasn't open, which was a shame. Excellent service!

13/11/2025: A pleasant discovery! I'd heard about this place and finally decided to try it, piqued by curiosity. Small but very welcoming, where you can relax and read a book! I tried a very good and unique poke. Fast service and affordable prices. It's a shame the bistro is a bit hidden, but I'd definitely go back!

12/11/2025: Special place: a bar and a bookshop, specializing in children's books, with a room for courses and meetings... To visit and return! Now there are access problems due to road reconstruction, but the uniqueness of the place is in the second entrance. Perhaps less comfortable but incredibly fascinating. Visiting the restaurant remains a priority if you pass through these parts. A plus is the service: the friendliness and affability of the owner are a plus that transforms every visit into an enchanting adventure. Update: road and access finally fixed, it is confirmed as a true oasis for a restaurant for the soul and... also the stomach... highly recommended.

11/11/2025: An unassuming place that captivated me with its food. As we approached before closing time, we noticed a man sitting in front of the bar. It turned out to be the owner, who invited us in and took our orders: a classic, a cheese burger, and a Pio burger. They were all delicious; the meat melted in your mouth. The bacon was fresh and well-fried. The fries were also on par. The whole family left satisfied. The place looks unassuming, but the food is of good quality. No stomach issues afterward.

02/11/2025: Found by chance, located on a small street about halfway down Corso Rossellino, this little place offers a good variety of burgers (I recommend the one with truffle). The ones the three of us tried were very tasty, especially the gluten-free one and the double Pienza. A great alternative to the good restaurants in town. Inside, there's seating for about 10. The owner is very friendly. We'll definitely be back.

05/11/2025: A must-see if you visit Monte Amiata, Ristorante Anna offers a wide selection of traditional Tuscan dishes and more... This family-run restaurant has been synonymous with hospitality, warmth, and flavor for over sixty years! In an era where food is more about representation than taste, here we find dishes of the highest quality, without too many iconic frills, but with very interesting combinations. The menu description, a nursery rhyme passed down from father to son, from Pino to Claudio, is pure poetry: "Mushroom and chestnut soup, Schiaffone with artichokes, Tortelli with meat sauce, Polenta with mushrooms, Chestnut tagliatelle... Peposo, Tripe, Rabbit, Suckling pig with small pears." Congratulations! I would love to have a restaurant like yours a few kilometers from my home...

It’s rare to find a fully vegan restaurant around here - and this one easily rivals the quality of trendy vegan places in Europe’s big cities, all while staying true to its Italian roots - including amazing desserts!

A special mention also goes to the attentive and welcoming dining room staff; laughter is the key to well-being for those who work there and those who want to spend an evening with a difference. Last but not least, the great professionalism and care of all the chefs, who willingly come out of the kitchen to share the story behind a dish, conveys only positive emotions. When you work in the industry and find a place this beautiful, it deserves praise, because quality cannot be taken for granted. Congratulations to all the staff! We will definitely be back. 03/10/2025: marvellous experience. we’ve chosen the à la carte option with some extra’s. couldn’t expect how much we would be surprised by small bits of edible kindnesses and undescribable tiny flavourexplosions. certainly a spot to remember with awe (for us) and to recommend highly (for you who doesn’t know whether to step into or not). enjoy!

09/11/2025: This inn was a gem on our trip to discover Tuscany. It immediately strikes you with its location, its breathtaking view, and the tranquility that reigns. The staff was super kind and helpful, suggesting modifications to the dishes to make them vegetarian-friendly. The flavors are authentic and homey, the dishes are seasonal, and the produce comes from the garden. The entrée and first courses were exceptional, as were the desserts, accompanied by coffee from the moka pot. Highly recommended

24/10/2025: 10/10 experience in Tuscany. This was the highlight of our recent trip to Italy. Alessandro and his family were so lovely. He is an amazing storyteller, a kind human, and so much fun to be around. We loved learning how to make homemade pasta, tiramisu and some other delicious Tuscan food. We had the most wonderful day with Alessandro and the other guests, the food and wine were delicious, and this is an unforgettable experience. Highly recommend!!!
