From the rich and enveloping soups to the expertly crafted first courses, to the succulent second courses and exquisite desserts, every dish far exceeds expectations. The staff is extremely welcoming, attentive, and always smiling. One detail that makes the difference is their attentiveness when passing between tables to ask if guests would like more food, a rare attention that makes guests feel pampered and at home. The restaurant is extremely easy to reach and boasts convenient parking nearby, making arrival completely stress-free. ​A restaurant where the excellent quality of the ingredients combines with impeccable and warm management. If you're in the area, Ristorante Anna is an absolute must-visit.

04/08/2026: Located in the heart of San Gimignano, you might think it's just another tourist-oriented restaurant. Quite the opposite. The young chef, with experience in high-end settings, offers cuisine that's deeply rooted in tradition but crafted with expert knowledge of techniques and ingredients. All this is topped off by an equally young and very kind maître d' who knows what needs to be done. I was truly pampered! P.S. The hazelnut dessert with extra virgin olive oil, salt, basil, and peach is a must-try.

27/07/2026: A handmade burger joint that feels authentically local. Since they make the burgers to order, the bread is perfectly toasted and the meat is fresh. It’s not worth coming all the way to Pienza just for this place, but it is a restaurant worth visiting if you are in the city. Since seating is limited, you might have to get takeout.

25/07/2026: What a gem! Right in the middle of a small village, on a quiet street where there is nothing to do, you find this amazing bistro. The owner is incredibly friendly and makes everything herself, and you can taste it. Had a delicious meal! Do go here if you have the time. Highly recommended.

Run by a family: the mother works her magic in the kitchen, while the son manages the service—and what service it is! Discreet and incredibly efficient. He offers expert advice on the wines he carefully prepares for you before your tasting. Succulent dishes with Calabrian influences, among others. Originality, elegant flavors—in short, a feast of everything, and above all, attentiveness and genuine kindness. 16/06/2026: Refined, top-quality Tuscan cuisine, with dishes bordering on perfection. The savory gelato with three types of cheese is a true delight for discerning palates: a surprising dish and an absolute must-try in the summer. Bravo!

15/05/2026: Unique in their friendliness and deliciousness, from soup to desserts made by their mother, to Cinta Senese in all its forms (hand-grilled prosciutto, capocollo, salami...) and livers as they were once eaten. Their wine list is truly worth a try.

08/05/2026: We visited this restaurant on a Monday in April. Four of us ordered different dishes, all delicious. The restaurant's home-made products are also available for purchase on site, and all are excellent, making them perfect gifts. Mirela was very welcoming and friendly, serving us quickly and with great courtesy.

19/07/2026: Such a lovely restaurant ! We really enjoyed the view but also the staff and the food. We spent a good time and were amazed by the association of taste of the various dishes all made with local and fresh food. The bread was so delicious too. We highly recommend it !

23/05/2026: We were served by the owner, a very pleasant, delightful man who made our dinner experience very enjoyable. I absolutely loved their short pasta with smoked ham & blue cheese sauce- just amazing flavor. Even the side salad was fresh, tasty and quite large. I will definitely be coming back!

22/05/2026: I went for lunch with a small group of locals. The bruschetta, affettati, and formaggi were plentiful but very average. Most people ordered primi, including tagliatelle ai funghi that were literally swimming in oil. I had the worst insalata caprese of my life: bits of generic mozzarella served with quartered tomatoes and lettuce, without basil leaves or oil. It's worth noting that the dishes aren't prepared on-site but simply reheated. The service was very slow, the prices were high, and it's definitely for tourists.

27/07/2026: Quietly situated wine bar in the city center. Incredibly delicious wine and a super friendly owner. We even got a free bread board with really tasty olive oil! Highly recommended!

20/05/2026: Picci and tagliatelle with ragu! Both were delicious. Excellent service and very friendly staff. We went with our baby and they had no problem giving us a highchair so he could sit with us at the table. I really wanted to try the tortellini!

20/05/2026: After 6 days In Rome and then Montepulchiono this was my favorite dinner. The Pici with ragu and the Romanian stew were incredible! The staff was incredible and made our dinners even better. .

23/06/2026: A very special dinner. Everything was impeccable, from the appetizers to the dessert. My wife's and daughter's pasta dishes were both excellent, but I must recommend the fillet, which was perfect. All this in a pleasant atmosphere, with a beautiful view and very friendly service. I highly recommend it!
