04/05/2026: We have had a lot of great meals on this trip, but none surpassed our dinner here. The gorgeous patio was a quiet and sophisticated backdrop for exceptional boar ragu, pork ribs that (literally) stunned us, and fabulous dessert. The local vernaccia wine was a great compliment and they gave us an adorable little parting gift for tomorrow. I wish I could come back again and again. On our next trip to Tuscany it will be the first reservation we make.

06/04/2026: We went for dinner in April and it was absolutely magical! The sunset from the restaurant is beautiful, and the dinner was truly amazing, with delicious food and an open fireplace. The setting is intimate and the service is delightful. Highly recommended.

10/05/2026: Quality, originality, typical of the place, and just the right amount of dishes, professionalism, courtesy, and attention to the dishes and the customers, even when they're busy on Sunday lunchtime. They bring you water and bread without you asking where, even when full, they ask if everything was okay or if you'd like anything else. They take care in what they cook and who they cook it for. You can drink good wine and an excellent local amaro. The waiters do their job with professionalism and love, because serving customers isn't easy, and the environment and work atmosphere help a lot. I'll definitely be back.

My friends recommended this restaurant to me, and I was very curious to try the dishes they explained to me, which were so tasteful and unique. I had a wonderful day and absolutely recommend it. Congratulations, especially for the service and Ardit's kindness. He also recommended some very good wines, and we did a small tasting, and it was all delicious. Thanks guys.

12/05/2026: We had lunch at this little restaurant located in the heart of Pienza and really enjoyed it. The place is run by a very friendly and welcoming gentleman, who made the atmosphere even more pleasant. The portions were generous and excellent: we had a Chianina beef burger, wild boar meat, fries, and Ascoli olives. Everything was delicious and tasty. A positive experience, highly recommended!

14/05/2026: The distinctive dishes make this restaurant truly unique. Top-quality ingredients prepared with care and attention to detail. Cured meats and Tuscan crostini, local flavors with a touch of creativity... a refreshing glass of muffato brightens the dish. Tagliatelle and orecchiette complete the meal... pork cheek with porcini mushrooms and pork tenderloin were the delicious main courses we tried... excellent... and to finish, a crunchy wafer with chef-made gelato... what can I say... a spectacle of flavors accompanied by the friendly owner's smile... thank you for everything and well done indeed!
04/05/2026: Delightful little restaurant, very kind ladies in the dining room, delicious pecorino and guanciale, delicious homemade ice cream... we'll be back to try the rest of the menu.

11/05/2026: A must visit if you are driving or staying close by, or even visit from a far. Paola is such a incredible person, there is so much history in this restaurant and in the small village. Food is AMAZING, and the dessert with almond and whine mousse was soooo good! We will never forget this place, and will definitely come back if we can.
08/05/2026: A stop at Bar Ucci, in the magnificent Castello di Volpaia, was a small but precious part of our experience. A welcoming, authentic place, where you immediately feel at home thanks to the extraordinary kindness of its owners. A special thanks to Signora Paola, who is truly amazing: always smiling, helpful, and attentive, accommodating every request with great courtesy and ease. We were particularly impressed by her willingness to prepare something suitable for my mother, taking into account her dietary restrictions with thoughtfulness, sensitivity, and so much attention. A gesture we truly appreciated! It's those small, important details, combined with a sincere smile and a warm welcome, that make all the difference and transform a simple break into a beautiful memory. A genuine place, run with love, absolutely worth a visit!

02/05/2026: Near the highway entrance, yet nestled in the countryside, lies the Agriosteria. We stopped by chance and can't wait to return. Bread baked freshly in terracotta terrines heated over the fire. An ancient recipe that captures all the flavor of tradition and is carried forward with passion! T-bone steaks cooked over the open fire, home-grown snails, and incredible picci al ragù! After lunch, we toured the animal farm in front of the property. A place to return to!
02/05/2026: We discovered this place while searching Google Maps for a nice place to eat near our B&B. Truly fantastic! Everything was delicious, from the pici to the grilled meat to the Panigacci (bread they make on the spot). The place is beautiful, surrounded by greenery, and very welcoming. The staff was also very helpful in giving us a table next to the grill, since the last available table was in a small room with the heating off. Highly recommended!!!

17/05/2026: I'm not one to write reviews; I only do them when things are really good or very good. It was truly great here. The location is incredible, surrounded by their garden with a spectacular view of Montalcino. The staff is polite, cheerful, kind, and very attentive. The dishes were top-quality; we're vegetarians, and we found plenty of options for us (which is no surprise) that were anything but ordinary. The homemade pasta and bread were excellent, and the quinoa croquettes were special—I'll dream about them tonight. The price was very fair, considering everything I mentioned above. We'll definitely be back to this magnificent place. See you soon!

20/05/2026: After 6 days In Rome and then Montepulchiono this was my favorite dinner. The Pici with ragu and the Romanian stew were incredible! The staff was incredible and made our dinners even better. .
20/05/2026: Picci and tagliatelle with ragu! Both were delicious. Excellent service and very friendly staff. We went with our baby and they had no problem giving us a highchair so he could sit with us at the table. I really wanted to try the tortellini!

23/05/2026: We were served by the owner, a very pleasant, delightful man who made our dinner experience very enjoyable. I absolutely loved their short pasta with smoked ham & blue cheese sauce- just amazing flavor. Even the side salad was fresh, tasty and quite large. I will definitely be coming back!
22/05/2026: I went for lunch with a small group of locals. The bruschetta, affettati, and formaggi were plentiful but very average. Most people ordered primi, including tagliatelle ai funghi that were literally swimming in oil. I had the worst insalata caprese of my life: bits of generic mozzarella served with quartered tomatoes and lettuce, without basil leaves or oil. It's worth noting that the dishes aren't prepared on-site but simply reheated. The service was very slow, the prices were high, and it's definitely for tourists.
