02/08/2025: We have been coming to the Trovato family for over 20 years every 2/3 years, this is the 2nd time in the new restaurant. Everything is perfect, having done (the pre catelan, marcon, anne de Bretagne, the 3 kings, villa Crespi....etc...) the 3rd star would be deserved.

30/07/2025: We tried the meat menu degustation. Food was beautifully presented and delicious, however the accompanying sauces were rather salty and spoiling somewhat the experience. I have mixed feelings about the atmosphere - the venue is ultra modern, very impressive architecture and design yet a bit cold and stern for my taste; I did love the breathtaking vistas of Tuscany we could enjoy all along our meal through the huge glass facade of the building.

02/09/2025: Wonderful experience! Excellent tasting menu with traditional, quality dishes! Great attention and kindness towards the customers! Very beautiful location; we had lunch in the internal courtyard. I will gladly return ♥️

25/08/2025: Absolutely fantastic lunch experience! We had the beef tartare, Grilled pigeon and Tiramisu. All dishes were the perfect portion size, each with a unique and exquisite taste. The staff were very friendly, attentive and really made the atmosphere relaxing, refined and such an enjoyable meal. I cannot recommend this ristorante enough!

16/08/2025: Everything was truly excellent! We tried both land and sea dishes, the Chianina beef ragù was amazing, not to mention the zucchini string; clams and bottarga! The red shrimp tartare with strawberries and a raspberry balsamic reduction was a real highlight: a real highlight, as the name suggests! A must-visit in Tuscany ❤️ Friendly and helpful staff, family-style cooking (compliments to the chef)!!

15/08/2025: We dined at this restaurant on August 14, 2025, with 11 people. I can say that we immediately appreciated the kindness of the owner, Maurizio, who welcomed us with warmth! But I must emphasize how delicious the express seafood cuisine was! The spaghetti with clams was superb (we're from Salerno and have high standards of comparison), the gnocchi with spectacular seafood, the octopus, the crispy fried fish, and so much more! To finish, I recommend the freshly made tiramisu—truly delicious! Highly recommended.

You'll start falling in love with the Chianti tuna, then be pampered with the peposo and tagliolini with anchovies. But this cradle isn't just Michelin-worthy food; it's also history, stories, and so much, so much passion! Experiences and memories are the best gifts we can receive...well, guys, thank you for giving us an unforgettable evening. PS. The chef doesn't cook, he paints! The cheesecake with tomato jam is pure genius!

10/09/2025: Possibly the best wine and food establishment in Pienza! Young entrepreneur, Davide, has assembled an interesting list of local natural and organic wines and beers and Johan is very skilled in the kitchen, delicious and creative dishes! We enjoyed the natural house Prosit wines and had the Burrata and cabbage dishes, full of flavours…not to be missed!

21/08/2025: We went to eat a sandwich at Pio's today, what can I say? First of all, I had a second helping of a sandwich he recommended, it was delicious, and then it's worth the 5 stars just for his friendliness and politeness, excellent, high-quality sandwiches and absolutely low prices compared to the average in Pienza.

19/08/2025: The restaurant is small but welcoming, located in the historic center of Montepulciano. Reservations are recommended. The staff is friendly, helpful, and welcoming; they even let us sample their excellent homemade olive oil.

The staff is distinguished by their kindness and expertise, especially in the presentation and explanation of the wines, which are presented with passion and local knowledge. The menu offers an excellent selection, perfect for an aperitif with platters and bruschetta, or for a casual lunch or dinner featuring quality ingredients. The tartare was very well prepared, but the bruschetta was truly surprising, with simple yet intense flavors. All this was accompanied by an excellent wine that made the experience even more enjoyable.

15/09/2025: I had a disappointing experience at Le Leggo del Vingnola due to a booking misunderstanding and the unprofessional attitude of the lady front desk staff and waitress. I had made a reservation and canceled it well within the 24-hour policy, but a second booking appeared in the system under my name, with only one confirmation reaching my inbox. This caused confusion upon arrival. I fully understand that the restaurant has held a table, and I would have been amenable to a resolution had the matter been addressed with courtesy and clarity. Unfortunately, when I tried to clarify the situation, Virginia, the lady at the front desk and waitress were aggressively dismissive, cutting me off within seconds and asking me to step aside as they needed to work. This attitude felt disrespectful and left me with no opportunity to explain. All guests deserve to be treated with courtesy, especially in challenging situations, but I felt neither respect nor understanding was extended to me. This experience fell short of the service standards expected from a Michelin-recognized establishment. I am not seeking a refund for the €100, but I urge the restaurant’s management to review how they handle difficult situations to ensure future guests are treated with respect and grace. I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve staff training and guest interactions. P.S. The response below clearly shows the owner’s reluctance to acknowledge the misunderstanding regarding the booking. Attached is proof of a cancellation made two days prior to the booking. The owner’s rude comment certainly does not meet Michelin standards and demonstrates how guests are treated. A professional, high-caliber restaurant should have well-trained staff capable of handling difficulties and misunderstandings with grace and professionalism. Food for thought: Would a distinguished five-star hotel, such as Rosewood or Four Seasons, ever accuse a guest publicly compounding with an error of misspelling their guest’s reservation name?
