The food was very very good and the service even better.
We arrived for dinner a little late and without a reservation and they treated us great.
For lunch we ordered the tagliatele with ragù and the pici with artichoke sauce. The pasta was made by them and both dishes were 10.

I hardly ever write reviews, but had to for this gem of a restaurant. Being from New York City, I have high standards regarding cuisine and my husband and I are constantly in search of authentic restaurants while in Italy. Of all the restaurants in Milan, Rome, Venice and Florence - this one was by far the best! Limited seating, intimate and romantic ambience, attentive service, fresh and delicious Tuscan cuisine and beautiful presentation as well! Furthermore, my husband has food allergies and I have never had a restaurant ask (even in the states) when I placed the reservation via phone about food allergies - so considerate and attentive! I will be recommending this place to all my friends and family traveling to Italy!

Very refined environment, high-level cellar, selected raw materials, right down to the coffee.
The service is attentive and impeccable, always accompanied by the human side.

Che dire… ho prenotato lasciandomi guidare dalle recensioni, e pur aspettandomi qualcosa di diverso, sono rimasto favorevolmente colpito! Il padrone di casa, persona molto gentile e genuina, mi raccontato la sua storia. Inizialmente una mensa gestita dalla madre, ha deciso con coraggio di reinventarla trasformandola in un bijou esclusivo con pochi coperti, mantenendo però l’origine casalinga dei piatti. E’ una cucina fatta di ricette genuine e storiche però riviste e presentate in chiave moderna.
Se aspettate di mangiare la classica bistecca alla fiorentina, però, guardate altrove.
