03/05/2026: The grounds are very well maintained, especially the gardens, which are magnificent. However, the modern section near the pool is a shame: it clashes sharply with the original structure and doesn't blend in. We had dinner in the three-Michelin-starred restaurant. The cuisine clearly doesn't live up to this standard: it lacks refinement, seems very commercial, and is rather ordinary. Furthermore, we were seated in a room where two tables had infants, which is unacceptable for a Saturday night in a restaurant of this caliber. We spent the night there. The rooms are beautiful and well-maintained, but the bathroom is disappointing and really needs a complete renovation. Finally, the service is overly intrusive: the staff is friendly, but lacks discretion and tries to do far too much. In conclusion: it certainly doesn't deserve three stars and is therefore far too expensive for what it is!

25/04/2026: A beautiful, typical Ligurian restaurant, although not adequately cleaned (we found pieces of breadsticks and a dirty fork on the floor under the table: I've attached a photo). The service was very attentive and attentive, but our experience involved a waiter who was quite touchy with us and the tables next to us. The renowned, award-winning soup was good, but the portion was meager for €32. The other dishes were good; the traditional focaccia didn't disappoint, and the same was true for the trofie al pesto. On a personal note: we witnessed the scene where the old owner's son was rude to his father. It wasn't pleasant to see or hear.

06/05/2026: High-end restaurant. I think I ate one of the best fried artichokes in the world. In addition to the à la carte menu, the restaurant offers both meat and fish tasting menus. Perfect service with spot-on wine recommendations. For a romantic dinner, it's a great choice. Highly recommended.

The warm welcome from the owner and waiter paved the way for an excellent dinner, highlighted by the chef's professionalism. 03/05/2026: Great lunch spot with incredible prices and friendly service. The garden patio was intimate and secluded but still had space for larger groups. While Venice isn't know for pizza, this place knew the assignment and delivered two tasty pies that were the best we had on our trip. Wish I'd taken a picture of the pizza because I'm still thinking about it. Highly recommended.

If you want something a bit different from the run of the mill restaurants, fantastic combinations of flavours and a fine dining experience you must go to this restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful, the service was superb, the presentation of the food a work of art. Can’t recommend it enough, the best restaurant I have been to in Taormina.

19/05/2026: The hidden gem! This place is amazing. My food was excellent, crispy bread with liver and truffles as a starter was outstanding, Michelin star level. Pasta plate was very good, but not exceptional (that may be determined by my choice) and desert tiramisu was great. Good espresso closed the deal. Service was great.

Everything we tried was delicious, but I must give a special and obligatory mention to their egg dish with pecorino and truffle. It's served by the owner, with his wife in the kitchen, and the service is exceptionally friendly.

02/05/2026: One of the most beautiful human-food-wine experiences of recent years. The restaurant boasts decades of experience thanks to the owners' hard work. A refinement in every detail that doesn't escape the attentive eye of a food enthusiast. Cuisine is certainly a matter of taste, but the excellence of the menu chosen by the owners is beyond reproach. It was our first experience during a recent Easter holiday, and we were so captivated that we booked again for the only available slot during our few days in Cagliari. Double satisfaction. I won't go into detail, try it for yourself (as I said, tastes are personal), but I still dream about their tagliolini alla bottarga at night. And I feel like I'm in heaven. Why? Try it and you'll understand. All the dishes we tried were delicious (including the dairy-free dessert) and the wine list was wonderful. The staff was warm and kind, unforgettable. In short: everything was perfect ❤️
