03/05/2026: The grounds are very well maintained, especially the gardens, which are magnificent. However, the modern section near the pool is a shame: it clashes sharply with the original structure and doesn't blend in. We had dinner in the three-Michelin-starred restaurant. The cuisine clearly doesn't live up to this standard: it lacks refinement, seems very commercial, and is rather ordinary. Furthermore, we were seated in a room where two tables had infants, which is unacceptable for a Saturday night in a restaurant of this caliber. We spent the night there. The rooms are beautiful and well-maintained, but the bathroom is disappointing and really needs a complete renovation. Finally, the service is overly intrusive: the staff is friendly, but lacks discretion and tries to do far too much. In conclusion: it certainly doesn't deserve three stars and is therefore far too expensive for what it is!

25/04/2026: A beautiful, typical Ligurian restaurant, although not adequately cleaned (we found pieces of breadsticks and a dirty fork on the floor under the table: I've attached a photo). The service was very attentive and attentive, but our experience involved a waiter who was quite touchy with us and the tables next to us. The renowned, award-winning soup was good, but the portion was meager for €32. The other dishes were good; the traditional focaccia didn't disappoint, and the same was true for the trofie al pesto. On a personal note: we witnessed the scene where the old owner's son was rude to his father. It wasn't pleasant to see or hear.

If you want something a bit different from the run of the mill restaurants, fantastic combinations of flavours and a fine dining experience you must go to this restaurant. The whole experience was wonderful, the service was superb, the presentation of the food a work of art. Can’t recommend it enough, the best restaurant I have been to in Taormina.

The tasting menu is always captivating, the flavors unique without being excessive. The service is another feather in the cap; never intrusive, always friendly and attentive to every little detail. Precisely because of this attention to detail, I'd like to mention the restrooms. The presence of feminine hygiene products, wet wipes and hangers, as well as sealed dental cleaning kits and washcloths, clearly demonstrates how every detail is thought out in detail. 08/07/2026: An experience that goes beyond dinner From the moment we entered, we felt welcomed, not just served. The restaurant is refined but without unnecessary frills. We chose the tasting menu. Each course told a little story: impeccable technique and art-gallery-like presentation. The service was impeccable: attentive, knowledgeable, never intrusive. Enrico recommended the perfect pairing. The chef's passion is evident in every detail. It's not "just" a gourmet restaurant, it's a complete experience. We'll definitely be back!

12/06/2026: The staff were excellent, and it's a romantic spot tucked away from the city. Getting to the restaurant was a bit confusing, so we recommend calling ahead to learn about the restaurant's parking (which is very spacious, by the way). The food selection is varied, from meat to fish, and there's also a wide selection of wines. If you'd like to try the Ischia-style rabbit, you'll need to call ahead to reserve it. We had a mixed antipasto that included both meat and seafood. As a parmigiana lover, I can say that the shrimp with mayonnaise (made by them) was almost tastier and definitely delicious. Everything was excellent!!!

08/06/2026: We spontaneously walked up to the restaurant and were lucky with our table. The first thing we noticed was the beautiful view over the island and the adjacent sea. The second was the friendliness and competence of the service. We had already tried several beach restaurants in Lacco Ameno, and they mainly focused on the expensive bottle of wine, the large fish, and the quality, which didn't live up to the waiters' eloquent descriptions. In short, a great table, a great view, excellent service, a house wine that got better and better as the evening progressed, and a truly harmonious meal. The house wine had a wonderful nose, with fruit and nuts, which was a bit more understated on the palate, but still good. It complemented the dishes perfectly. The appetizer platter was all very tasty and well-balanced; we shared it. My wife had a pasta dish with squid for her second course, and it was very good. I had the fish of the day on creamed potatoes, and I didn't regret it. It was perfectly prepared and cooked to perfection. ... For dessert, I enjoyed a wonderfully crisp tart with cream and crunchy crumble topping – absolutely delightful and not too heavy. My tiramisu was very light and creamy. I would have liked a bit more of the typical coffee, cocoa, mascarpone, and amaretto flavor. But overall, it was a wonderful evening. I would recommend this restaurant.
