09/08/2026: ​The cutlery was the first thing I noticed. It showed significant wear and tear, covered in visible dents and scratch marks. The attached photo isn't even the worst example from the evening—there were far worse pieces. While I haven't been to many fine dining places, I've honestly never seen tableware in such bad shape even at ordinary restaurants, which is disappointing given the high price point. ​On the plus side, the service staff were attentive, efficient, and well-trained.

05/08/2026: I had high expectations for Davittorio, but it was a bit disappointing as it was far from the classic style I was familiar with.😭 Still, I'm glad I got to try the signature Paccheri.. (Above all, the wine prices are outrageous. Searcher is at least 2 to 3 times higher.)

19/08/2026: The evening started well, in a beautiful, elegant room with perfectly air-conditioned surroundings. The oysters arrived 10 minutes after ordering, and were truly delicious and of high quality. Unfortunately, then the problems began: it took 25 minutes for the plate with the oyster shells to be taken away, and another 50 minutes for the second course to be served (after being prompted three times). Between the second and third courses, we waited another 30 minutes. We didn't order dessert; perhaps it would have arrived for breakfast. Jokes aside, no one bothered to notify us of the delay or apologize. No apology came, not even when I complained directly to the owner, who only tried to justify himself, blaming the kitchen for the chef's absence and the staff for poor service. Aside from the oysters, of the six dishes ordered, one was unpresentable, three were passable, and two were inadequate. P.S. maybe it wasn't necessary, but offering a liqueur or a drink at the end of the dinner would have been a polite gesture, perhaps even apologizing (at least once).

18/08/2026: I had the pleasure of enjoying an excellent seafood dinner with my sister. The staff were friendly and professional, the fish was well-cooked, and the first courses were truly exquisite: a perfect balance of flavors. The bill was absolutely fair. 18/08/2026: A wonderful discovery! The cuisine is inventive and delicious, with Tuscan influences. The service was impeccable, provided by the lovely owner. We were 45 minutes away by car, but we returned without hesitation.

17/08/2026: Superb restaurant on a small street. The terrace is lovely and the interior is beautiful. The food is truly excellent, and the owner gives very helpful advice. The service is top-notch. They even present the fish to you before cooking it. I highly recommend this quiet and friendly place.

09/08/2026: A wonderful discovery in the heart of Bracciano. We had the opportunity to try both one of the tasting menus offered and several à la carte dishes, finding precise, well-executed cuisine that showcases the finest ingredients with balance. A special mention goes to the spaghetti with sea urchins: a dish that captivates with its intensity, balance, and clean flavors, a must-try. The presentation is also meticulously crafted, with attentive, yet unobtrusive service. The elegant and pleasant location completes a gastronomic experience that convinced us in every way. A restaurant definitely worth discovering.

The food was absolutely delicious – not exactly cheap, but the value for money is perfect. The dishes have a unique touch, making the visit exciting and delightful. 12/08/2026: I really enjoyed my time at this trattoria near Tivoli. High-end cuisine with excellent ingredients. I ordered chickpea and shrimp puree, shrimp-filled ravioli, and, as an off-menu option, pan-fried mushrooms, all preceded by a small gift from the chef. I finished with coffee and a small pastry. Everything was delicious. Little gems, like the extensive olive oil list. I tried two, both truly excellent. The wine list is comprehensive, with a price range to suit all tastes. The atmosphere is refined, tasteful, and without frills, with truly pleasant furnishings and table settings. The welcome was professional, yet also very empathetic. A wonderful discovery that I recommend.

11/08/2026: Everything was amazingly perfect, both the food and the service. We walked by the terrace a couple of times and kept saying that we had to try it, and it was the best decision ever. The terrace is absolutely beautiful, and you can really feel the care and attention to detail throughout the house. The food was excellent, but what made the experience even more special was the wonderful service. All the waiters were incredibly attentive, friendly, and pleasant, and we truly appreciated all the little details that made us feel so welcome. Very professional staff and an unforgettable atmosphere. We absolutely loved it and would definitely come back!

22/08/2026: visit Barletta once a year but I go to l’Antica Cucina twice. By far the best restaurant in town - excellent cuisine, very attentive service and good wine list. My personal favorites include the raw seafood plate, the octopus, the happy egg as well as the truffle fettuccine, the spaghetti with seafood, the fried fish (paranza), and, if you are more daring, the nghiumarelle (off the menu grilled lamb intestines). The staff is very helpful with recommendations - they will set up sharing plates for you and your party if you want a little bit of everything - which is a nice idea for your first time there. The owner - Lello - is a Barletta institution and he will make you feel right at home. Definitely a must go dining destination if you are in town!
