23/12/2024: Trattoria with home cooking with tastes and flavors of the past; 80s style; for lunch with a fixed menu €15 with a first course, a second course; a side dish (choice of 3 dishes); water & coffee. Basic, clean rooms, friendly staff and served quickly. I recommend the place for the fixed menu that changes every day which allows you to enjoy always different and well-made dishes (like in the past). Close to the Coop car park.

23/08/2024: Upon returning from Portobuffolè (one of the most beautiful villages in Italy) we arrived in Oderzo and this restaurant gave us salmon and courgette cream gnocchi, fried calamari and a side dish of coffee and water. €15 per person. Place full of workers. We eat well. Clean and the waitress very kind. 👋🏻

13/11/2024: Pleasant evening accompanied by good wine and good food. The service was excellent: Giada the waitress was able to make us feel welcomed and pampered.

04/02/2025: Characterized by a welcoming and at the same time elegant atmosphere, with chic furnishings and centerpieces with always fresh flowers, the Giardinetto restaurant is located in the center of Chiasso, easily reachable on foot from the train station. The staff is friendly and helpful, attentive to the customer and his needs. I was impressed by the fact that they remembered each diner's favorite dishes! The menu is very broad, suitable for all tastes and varies every day, ranging between different traditional Swiss and Italian dishes. From spaghetti tomato and basil to chicory salad, from beef tartare to raw prawns, it is literally impossible to find a dish that is not more than delicious! Due to its variety the menu is suitable for every palate, and it would be possible to eat here every day of the week without ever having to have the same dish twice. The desserts are also delicious, all handcrafted: I can undoubtedly define them as the best I have ever tried. Try the apple pie and for chocolate lovers the brownies; they won't disappoint you! If you pass through the Como area I recommend you stop and eat here, it will become a regular stop.

04/02/2025: I stumbled upon this restaurant five years ago by chance, and since then, it’s become a must-visit every time I’m nearby. The food is absolutely delicious, the selection of dishes is extensive, and the menu changes daily, featuring Swiss traditional fare (the house specialities being the beef tartare and the roast chicken), all expertly prepared. There are always vegetarian options and pasta dishes available, making it perfect for families, business meetings, or even a romantic evening out. The staff are friendly, knowledgeable, and happy to explain the menu and offer recommendations in both Italian and English. If you’re in the area, be sure to try the desserts – they’re homemade and truly deserve to be in a proper pâtisserie. The atmosphere is both elegant and welcoming. Highly recommended!

01/03/2025: Sono stato qui per un aperitivo. Bella la location, in pieno centro; il locale è piccolo e disposto su 2 piani. Ciò che non mi ha convinto è la mancanza di cicchetti e soprattutto il servizio delle patatine nella busta sigillata. Capisco i motivi igienici, ma ciò non è ammissibile

03/01/2025: The owners are rude to their employees, embarrassing not only us customers but also them first and foremost. Having said that, I don't recommend anyone to go there on principle and kisses at all.

15/10/2024: Luca and Alina have been a guarantee for more than fifteen years, the quality is always excellent!! The last surprise on Sunday: the mascarpone cream with amaretti biscuits... fantastic!!

28/03/2025: We went for lunch with the all you can eat formula. Excellent food, generous portions and very attentive staff for gluten-free. They come with gluten-free sauce. The only flaw: the wait. We went in at 1.15pm and the first course arrived at 2.05pm. At 2.11pm, when all the dishes had yet to arrive, they asked us to proceed with the last order.

01/02/2025: the service was VERY slow: as soon as we sat down we ordered and, at least 30 minutes later, the FIRST dish arrived. After 2 hours the food from the first order has yet to finish arriving. However, we are not complaining about the quality of the food, although not high it wasn't bad apart from the lack of salt in the first courses. We've been here since 12 and we still have to finish the first tour (it's now half past 2), plus they even told us that the kitchens are about to close and we can't leave an all-you-can-eat restaurant on an empty stomach.

29/12/2024: Shocking prices. A hot chocolate in a coffee cup €5?? Not even in Piazza San Marco. And not even looking people in the eye and smiling... if you work in contact with the public you need to change your attitude. I felt terrible. Never again.
