18/12/2025: A cute, small, quiet, and slightly secluded alleyway from the bustling center of Bellagio.
There's plenty of seating inside and outside, so it won't be too crowded. Reservations aren't necessary. I recommend the outdoor area. It's very Italian and sweet.
The appetizer, main course, and dessert were impeccable, and the staff were very attentive! The food was prepared quickly and deliciously. The drinks, including cocktails, are also highly recommended.
Highly recommended if you're in Bellagio on Lake Como.

25/12/2025: I photographed a wedding at Villa Serbelloni, and it is an absolutely iconic location on Lake Como.
The views over the lake are breathtaking, with classic elegance and a timeless atmosphere throughout the property.
The gardens are beautifully maintained and very scenic, perfect for portraits and ceremonies. The villa itself is stunning both outside and inside, with refined interiors and a true sense of history.
As a photographer, I found this location incredibly inspiring. One of the most elegant and recognizable wedding venues on Lake Como.

19/03/2026: There was only lasagna on offer. It arrived after two minutes and was good, solid home cooking – but a child's portion. It came with a bread basket full of stale white bread. Total cost: 22 euros, plus 6 euros for a bottle of Peroni beer – a complete rip-off. The atmosphere was cold, too brightly lit, and had a fast-food feel. At least the staff were friendly, which was a plus. Nevertheless, the verdict is clear: never again!

07/02/2026: STAND AWAY !!!
I showed up at this hotel for check-in a little before 2am on a Sunday in July 2024. There I was met with a closed gate with no way to get in for check-in.
I have my own car and it is almost impossible to park in the narrow street by the hotel, but I was able to temporarily park in the driveway of a neighbor of the hotel. The hotel is located within a fenced area with a large metal gate and it cannot be opened from the outside and it is therefore not possible to enter either by car or on foot. There is no poster or other information at the gate on how to contact the hotel. The hotel looks completely uninhabited and the neighbor with whom I parked said that there were nonsensical and problematic conditions there.
I then called the hotel manager on the number listed on Booking.com and was told that check-in had to be done in the city center at another hotel and that that was the only option I had. To get to this hotel you have to drive through impassable narrow streets with masses of tourists and I told the host that this was out of the question and that he had to show up at the hotel so that I could check in normally. Important: There is no place in the hotel information that it says that check-in should be several kilometers away from the hotel. He refused to come to the hotel to check in there and I therefore had to just leave and find another hotel. This matter is in my opinion completely incomprehensible. I have been on vacation in Europe now for almost four weeks but have never come close to this behavior from a hotel host.
STEER AWAY FROM THIS HOTEL !!

20/07/2025: We had a really fantastic lunch here. The service is impeccable and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The food was amazing.
This restaurant also has an excellent location with good views of the lake and after eating there is a lovely outside bar area you can relax with cocktails.
A top class experience.
12/07/2025: Fine dining by the pool and breathtaking views of Lake Como. This 5 star dining experience is nestled in the Grand Hotel Villa — a lodging experience that is unmistakably luxurious. The food here is good, but the service could be smarter and more attentive. But overall, it remains a memorable brunch experience.
