30/04/2026: A huge area with horse stables, farmland, accommodations, restaurants with regional products, a trattoria, etc. Excellent cheese and ham, a secluded, idyllic location, but still, what else is there to do? To each their own...

19/04/2026: We had the pleasure of having a family lunch at this agriturismo, in an undoubtedly charming location immersed in nature, with the presence of the stables adding an authentic charm to the experience. Unfortunately, however, the dining experience was severely compromised by an extremely invasive presence of flies. Throughout the meal, and especially when serving the dishes, we found ourselves more busy trying to ward them off than enjoying the food. We fully understand that the proximity to the stables can pose this type of challenge; however, for this very reason, it would be crucial to adopt more effective measures to ensure food safety and hygiene, especially in a restaurant setting. This is a real shame, because the location's potential is evident. With greater attention to this aspect, the experience could live up to the expectations the location naturally generates.

01/10/2025: Unfortunately, there was no mention of the hut being closed on the signs or in the towns. It was sobering to see this after a long journey there... At the time of planning a few days earlier, there was no mention of it on Google.

13/09/2025: On our hike from Ruffré to the Mendel Pass, we first passed the rather busy Halbweghütte (Halfway Hut). We then decided to continue a little further to the Enzianhütte (Gentian Hut), and it was absolutely the right decision. We received a very warm welcome there and were able to enjoy the fantastic food in peace and quiet. It was accompanied by a delicious elderflower spritzer made with homemade elderflower syrup. Highly recommended!
