14/08/2025: We had the tasting menu with wine pairing which we had already two years ago. The food was delicious and the wine was very tasty. But compared to two years ago it wasn’t as exclusive. Each course was very tiny and it wasn’t properly explained to us. Overall, we had expected more for € 200.

25/08/2025: Following the Michelin Guide, I visited Aqua in Riva del Garda. Ambience & Location The restaurant is located directly on the water and impresses with its large window front and a pleasant color scheme of blue and white tones. The atmosphere is calming. However, the tables and chairs wobbled a bit, and the seating is exclusively designed for round four-seaters, which limits flexibility. Service Unfortunately, the service was not up to the standard one would expect from a restaurant of this standard. Although only three tables were occupied, we sat at our tables for 10-15 minutes without a greeting, menu, water, or any other kind of attention. Even the pre-booked option of a decorated table—which is offered via the website for an additional charge—was not implemented. This seems unprofessional and disappointing. The service was generally slow: sometimes served from the left, sometimes from the right, dishes were sometimes announced, sometimes placed without comment. We had to refill our own water several times. Particularly irritating: The selected vintage champagne was repeatedly referred to as "wine" and served in a red wine glass – a clear lack of service training here. Finally, there was also an error on the bill, which was only corrected after a request and a long wait. Cuisine The cuisine, however, was convincing: The 9-course menu was very harmonious in terms of flavor, expertly prepared, and attractively presented on high-quality china. The amuse-bouches were also harmoniously integrated. The expected culinary standards were met here. Conclusion While the kitchen delivers on its promises, the service falls significantly short of expectations. For a restaurant with this level of service, the service should be more professional, structured, and attentive. Overall, the evening was not a complete success. The competition is fierce – and that's precisely why more emphasis should be placed on a strong service experience.

24/08/2025: Michelin-starred restaurant. This is the perfect place if you want to dine in a modern and refined setting, with a pleasant lake view and very attentive service. The dishes in the tasting menu (vegetarian and seafood) won us over—and at times surprised us—with their beauty and flavor. The portions were minimal, as expected, except for the pasta with meat sauce, which I ordered for my toddler, and which was a huge hit!

08/09/2025: Great hotel, this is our second time coming to it, clean and tidy with private hotel parking, the options for trips outside the hotel are very inviting, including easy access to the lake and a walking trail

07/09/2025: Just returned home from an amazing stay at the Goti hotel. The Staff were so professional friendly and polite. Special mention to Ambra and Catherina at reception they made us feel so relaxed and welcome. Breakfast was very good with fresh produce each morning. Staff here were also excellent and very accommodating. The room was adequate, bed very comfortable, and excellent spacious shower. The Hotel Location was close to all amenities etc, and within walking distance. We used the spa facilities and the Gym which was well equipped. We highly recommend the Goti hotel and hope to return in the future.

19/08/2025: Trofile pasta with green pesto is brilliant..maybe the most delicious I've ever eaten. Amazing view, definitely worth coming!

07/09/2025: Great location for lunch after surfing. Unfortunately, a quarter of my beef fillet was quite flabby and riddled with tendons. I sent it back and showed it to the waiter, but there was no apology, nor was he even interested. His response was just a quiet "okay." The rest of the food was good, except for the grilled vegetables, which were a bit too oily. Overall, though, it was pretty average, and the price was too high.

06/09/2025: Delicious seafood, fish, and steaks. Great service. The name is a bit misleading; not what you'd expect from a Surfers Grill. Stylish, beautiful ambiance with chandeliers, even outside. Highly recommended ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

28/08/2025: Top. Highly recommended. I've never eaten better pasta with seafood than here. The appetizer plate was also a feast for the eyes and truly sumptuous. We had one appetizer, two main courses, and one dessert. Plus three drinks. I was expecting around €80. You can't complain. The welcome and service were very warm. I wish our local Italian restaurant could serve food like this. If you don't go here, it's your own fault.

11/08/2025: It's not just a place, it's a beautiful view, a welcoming place, a place where you can feel good while sipping a glass of something delicious. Beautiful in the summer, with the entire square at your disposal, and stunning in the winter, with a sunset over the lake right in front of you to enjoy. I recommend it.

05/05/2025: Recommended bar in Torbola. Nicely tucked away off the main drag. A pleasant place for an evening wine. They have a simple menu, you won't get lost when choosing. You always get the option to take some snacks for free with your wine! (Chips, nuts,….). I would definitely recommend visiting in the evening, when the garden is lit up with lights. Romantic place. No service charge. Prices good!

10/07/2025: Very welcoming and well-kept restaurant. Indian management and they also offer typical cuisine, Italian cuisine and even pizzas, a very vast and excellent menu with value for money. We opted for tasting the Indian menu and it was an excellent choice. There is an outdoor space for children. Pets allowed. Parking available both in front and behind the restaurant.

15/08/2025: A very friendly welcome and delicious pizza in the restaurant. My bike was safely stored.

13/08/2025: We only ate at the restaurant, not the hotel. I can only appreciate the fact that the head waiter was running around and you could see he was trying his best. Besides the endless wait for pizza and pasta (with many other people around us who almost argued), they forgot to bring us the menus and bread, and the second course even after we asked. I understand the lack of staff in the dining room due to holidays or an absence of some staff, but they definitely weren't on top of things in the kitchen either. I'm giving 3 stars only for the head waiter's dedication and for the food, which was quite good.

07/09/2025: Very nice, clean hotel in a great location, especially for those who enjoy walking. Just a few minutes' walk from the Busatte trail and the Busatte adventure park! Ideal for both families and couples. The breakfast buffet is delicious. The hotel also has a small pool (plus spa) for guests' use.

23/08/2025: Total disappointment – ​​Hotel Hi Torbole Price: €170 for one night in a standard room. We opted for just one night, but the experience was enough to convince me never to return. Perhaps the hotelier took the term "ensuite bathroom" too literally: here, the shower is literally next to the bed, separated only by a glass pane, with the sink placed at the foot of the bed as an unusual furnishing accessory. For the toilet, however, you have to make do with a closet without even a bidet. All of this, of course, wasn't specified in the description on Booking.com: a lack of transparency that's difficult to justify. Reception and breakfast: limited. The reception did its job. On a positive note: the lady in the dining room was kind. It's also absurd to discover that the TV in the room is tuned only to German channels. We understand that the clientele is mostly German-speaking, but a little attention to Italian speakers wouldn't hurt. Perhaps the same carelessness is evident in the lack of a bidet and a cleanliness that, while adequate (a 7), certainly doesn't reach the standards one would expect for a similar price. Parking: an additional €8, not clearly indicated on Booking.com, where only the availability of parking was mentioned. An unpleasant and decidedly opaque surprise. Distance from the center: They state a 10-minute walk... maybe, but downhill. On the way back uphill, those 10 minutes easily become 20. Value for money? Simply ridiculous. At €170 a night, I expected a hotel, not a reality show set about how to survive without space, without comfort, with a surprise extra parking space and a TV that seems designed only for German tourists. If I were to return to Torbole, I would definitely choose something else: next time, I'd prefer a B&B; at least the bathroom and bed are in different rooms.

09/07/2025: The food was pretty good - prices similar to the competition - service was terrible! We waited over an hour for our food - there was no person managing the place - three waiters served the table, and none of them knew what was going on :(
