14/08/2026: A very friendly and cheerful waiter who surprised us by knowing a few words of Polish. The food was also delicious.

02/08/2026: A restaurant where you can truly relax! A charming interior and a compact outdoor seating area facing the street. We always felt comfortable and welcome during our multiple visits. Friendly service, authentic Italian cuisine, and English-speaking staff. The pizza and pasta are highly recommended and delicious. The restaurant is quite busy, so reservations are advisable, or be prepared to wait. We'll definitely be back!

09/08/2026: We've been to this restaurant several times and have always enjoyed both the service and the quality of the food. But the new addition we've discovered this year is the kiosk adjacent to the restaurant, excellent for snacks and appetizers prepared by Mattia, who goes out of his way to fully satisfy his customers' requests.

11/08/2026: This is the first restaurant in the Dolomites where racists have served the food. It wasn't just one waiter; three or four staff members there provided us with the worst possible service. They gestured to take our order, but instead took orders from other tables excluding ours. They ordered the same food as the people we were sharing a table with first, and even when their food arrived, ours did not. When we asked why our food wasn't coming, the waiter's attitude—claiming he didn't know—was truly uncomfortable. He came back to check, but even though most of the people we were sharing had finished their meals, he told us to wait another 15 minutes. When we asked why only we weren't getting ours when we had ordered the same food, he just sighed and said he didn't know. Then, he brought out the food immediately. To claim we misunderstood is a stretch; if our order had been missed, they should have apologized. There was absolutely no apology; all they did was sigh and slam the plates down as if tossing them. We saw the best scenery here, but it is a pity that you provided such terrible service in this environment :) I feel sorry for your lives living with that attitude in such a beautiful place. Were you happy providing such the worst service? What did you gain? I hope no one else goes through the same thing. The only consolation here is the scenery.

08/08/2026: A very beautiful and well-kept place, located in a truly spectacular location. The waiters were kind, smiling, and helpful. We enjoyed an excellent strudel with coffee and barley. Prices are moderately high, but in line.

26/03/2026: When visiting Canazei this is a must snack place for me. I mean, it’s nothing special, just an honest panino with really good wurstel. At a reasonable price. Served directly by the owner for 50+ years

24/03/2026: A Canazei classic: a hot dog break at Pippo's along the main road in Canazei, opposite the bus stop. I gave the service 4 stars only because of the queue that always forms due to the quality of the food, but that's certainly not due to the owners and staff who work tirelessly to satisfy every culinary request. Beyond the bus stop, the view of the snow-capped mountains is splendid, the air clear and crisp, the sandwich fragrant and warm—it's a must! But I'm sure you've already tried it, otherwise don't miss it, it's worth it!!!

06/08/2026: Peaceful with a magnificent view! We appreciated that it was less crowded than the other mountain huts higher up, near the cable cars. The food was also very good 😋 and as a bonus, the marmots graced us with their presence 👀

05/08/2026: We did a via ferrata at this hut for lunch while we were doing the Sella Ronda, and we loved it. It's more hidden, which means there aren't many people; further up, it's full of people doing the Sassolungo. The food is really good, and the people who work there are very kind!

07/01/2026: Always TOP ski holidays! For a few years now, we've been spending ski holidays or quick 2-3 days at this magnificent hotel, in true "slipper" style, relaxing to the max. New rooms with a modern and linear design, incredibly beautiful, spotlessly clean, as are ALL the hotel's areas. The atmosphere is elegant and familiar, with fresh flowers every day, tended by the owner, making every space even more welcoming. Excellent food, whether for breakfast, snacks, or dinner. TOP! The staff is kind and attentive. The owners (the whole family) are professional, kind, helpful, and friendly! See you soon, Silvia and Osvaldo

01/01/2026: Beautiful, traditional hotel, recently renovated (some rooms are modern, others traditional, but all spacious) with a large spa, next to the Belvedere/Ciampac ski lift. Impeccably clean. The food and service are excellent, and the gourmet restaurant is top-notch—a real effort considering it's been family-run for generations. Definitely worth a try!

16/12/2025: A very beautiful hotel, with well-kept rooms and a staff that truly exceeded our expectations; everyone was incredibly kind. We stayed with two large dogs, and everyone was very hospitable and accommodating. We usually come to Canazei once a year, and this will definitely be our go-to hotel. The restaurant was also truly excellent; I admit we were skeptical about the food, considering it's a vegan restaurant, but we changed our minds on the first night. Congratulations again to everyone. See you next year!

12/09/2025: The three days I spent at Hotel Pordoi were very special to me. Besides the splendid location, I was pampered by the attentive, helpful, precise, and knowledgeable staff. I slept and ate well. The welcome was warm, and the wellness area was an area I truly enjoyed. The kindness of the staff and the skill of the kitchen in introducing local flavors to vegetarian cuisine were remarkable. Thank you for hosting me for the short time I stayed, but it was enough to fall in love with the place. Thank you for your hospitality and helpfulness.

17/08/2026: Nice setting, but a little chilly for lunch. They gave us a table in the middle of the entrance. As for the food, there's not much to say... terrible value for money. I personally ordered "polenta with sausage and mushrooms." The sausage was good, but the rest had very little flavor and was bland. The staff was really rude and unfriendly; as soon as someone finished eating, the waiter was at the table clearing away. I don't recommend this place; I wouldn't go back.

16/08/2026: We went to this place hungry... I don't know about the pizza, but the food was terrible. I think I ate the worst risotto of my life. Sausage and Teroldero Rotaliano risotto. It tasted like nothing, was poorly creamed, and was ready in 5 minutes. The spaetzle were bland and soggy they almost melted. Terrible... I wouldn't recommend the food at all. Extremely expensive for the terrible quality. Not recommended.

25/08/2026: Its such a nice and Beautiful Place! Service was Great. The Team was very Polite and super fast! We had so delicious Pizza and a Beautiful Sunset view of the Dolomites.

08/08/2026: Restaurant/brewery/pizzeria: I had a great experience at this place. Quiet, peaceful, and welcoming location where you can experience the typical local atmosphere. Food: I was able to try several dishes with friends, and none of them disappointed me; in fact, everything was very good. Beers: Limited selection (only forst) and a few bottled beers. Not many, but good. Service: Excellent! Friendly, professional, and very quick with orders, serving, and any other requests. Price: About €30 per person. I think it's fair for what we ate. A complimentary house liqueur! Recommended
