24/08/2025: Stay away from this place run by an incompetent person. I stopped for a typical South Tyrolean dish, added a quarter of a carafe of wine, and a carafe of still tap water. The final surprise on the bill: I was charged a monstrous €2.50 for water. I expressed my disappointment, and at one point the manager told me he pays for the water 😳 unbelievable. Not to mention the wine, which wasn't a Merlot at all as advertised, but a thin carton of wine. I also paid €3.50 for this. Guys, we're in the mountains on a farm, not a Michelin-starred restaurant. I absolutely don't recommend it.
23/08/2025: We went up for a snack with the kids. It's a wonderful place; tranquility and peace are the key words. The desserts are delicious, and the service is fast and friendly. The cheeses they sell are also excellent. It's a 15-minute walk away, even with strollers. You'll see cows and horses along the way.

25/10/2025: A true insider tip in a beautiful location. The food was not only delicious but also arrived surprisingly quickly – perfect for a stop after a hike. The super friendly service is particularly noteworthy: attentive, warm, and with a smile. You immediately feel welcome.

15/10/2025: We were there at the beginning of October, and I have nothing but good things to say.
The food was delicious, we received good service, and the hut's location on the way to the Großer and Kleiner Kornigl is convenient.
The prices are very fair! If I remember correctly, €3.50 for a half-liter of beer, which you hardly get anywhere else these days.
There's also a swing and goats, which the kids loved.

11/07/2025: Cibo ottimo vista spettacolare preso tagliere formaggi strudel di mirtilli e rotolo frutti di bosco . Mi sono sentita fortemente a disagio ci sta il gestore un omino che sta alla cassa vestito in maniera indecorosa capisco la montagna che cerca di spillare più ordini possibili facendo faccette e commenti inadeguati. Su gusti e richieste del cliente. Ad una mia amica ha chiesto due euro per una forchetta in più.
E con questo non scrivo altro.

03/08/2023: Locale d’altri tempi un po’ trasandato ma cucina sincera con pochissimi piatti e genuini. Molto bello il contesto di genuinità con prodotti di loro produzione con all’esterno un recinto di stupende capre. La signora ci ha consigliato due omelette con speck e formaggio grandi e molto buone. Siamo stati serviti bene e veloci con prezzi veramente convenienti.

01/10/2025: As other reviews have said, if you're a superficial person who only notices the cutlery, furniture, and other nonsense in four restaurants, stay home. Here you'll find simple, authentic cuisine, made with love for the diners and using fresh, home-grown ingredients. I returned after four years and found the tastiest Kaiserschmarrn I've ever tasted. Don't expect the kind you'd find on a glossy magazine cover with powdered sugar and shiny fruit, which tastes nothing when you eat it... here it's served a little burnt, not the prettiest thing, but served with a fantastic wild plum compote, it becomes the Emperor's omelette, my absolute favorite. As for the speck, I'm speechless... sublime. Congratulations!
20/09/2025: If you want to eat in a truly simple, peasant setting, this is the place to be. If you're a picky eater, don't go here to criticize.
