11/02/2025: Super recommended dinner. We ordered the venison ham as a very good appetizer, strong flavor and well plated. Very tasty second courses with meat coming from their farm. Fast and never intrusive service. Worth highlighting is the bread basket, varied and plentiful. Spending €42 per person, just for the quantity and quality of the food eaten. Easy to reach, 10 minutes drive from Brunico.

There are always new proposals in a menu with few choices (more or less 3 per course) but surprising every time in the presentation and combinations. Unpredictable flavors and unexpected contrasts. Even a simple salad becomes a discovery It is now a point of reference in Brunico

Personale gentile ma freddo e poco amichevole. menu del territorio con lista vini sufficiente. i piatti provati erano pre cucinati e pesanti al di sotto delle aspettative. E' rimasta la triste impressione di un locale per soli turisti. Gradite le grappe offerte e onesto il conto.

05/02/2025: Wir waren zum Abendessen in diesem Restaurant. Obwohl wir nicht reserviert haben, hat sich noch Plätzchen für uns gefunden. Mein Essen (Nockentris) hat gut geschmeckt. Das Essen von meinem Mann (Spareribs waren sehr trocken) hat mittelmäßig geschmeckt. Die Bedienung war schnell, aber nicht sehr freundlich (eher reserviert). Die Preise empfanden wir als zu hoch. Alles in Einem wurden unsere Erwartungen nicht erfüllt.

12/02/2025: I went to Rishon for a business lunch yesterday. The food was good. The service was lousy!!! When ordering, the service employee, who made no effort to speak German even though he was spoken to in German, was asked by one of my business partners to immediately open the bottle of wine that we would like to drink with the main course. After the starter before the main course was served, the service employee came to the table with the bottle and opened it. He was reminded in German by my business partner that the bottle should have been open for 45 minutes. Then came a very brisk one: parla in italiano (Speak German). He repeated that the wine should have been open for a long time, which was what came up: Sono io il Sommelier, so come è da fare quel vino è di 2022 non serve l'aria (I'm a sommelier and know what to do, the wine is from 2022 and it doesn't breathe). The fact that my business partner (a sommelier with many years of experience) has several vintages of exactly this wine from this winery in his wine cellar and knows exactly which ones need air and which ones don't was then not even mentioned anymore, the bully is a sommelier. At least a decanter could have been offered and the guest would be satisfied. Of course, we had to wait to enjoy the wine as it actually needed 30 minutes of air. The wine “accompaniment” was then no longer necessary. For my main course, the menu had chanterelle dumplings as a side dish and what came with it was mashed potatoes. I immediately asked whether the chanterelle dumplings should be included. Again in Italian: finferli sono finiti, possiamo fare i canederli d'erbe, le vuole allora anotherche queste? (Chanterelles are out we can make herb dumplings, would you like to have these too?) The fact that we were treated so rudely in a South Tyrolean restaurant in the middle of the German-speaking Puster Valley, without any attempt to express ourselves in our language, is enough for me to summarize the following: I would like to come back for the cuisine, but I can very well do without this service. It was noticeable that the focus was on the tourist customer. The place will never see me again, that's for sure. I also won't recommend it to anyone who values ​​decent service. Goodbye forever.

20/01/2025: The food was good and tasty. Service was fast. The only thing we were a bit surprised about were the wooden benches that were quite uncomfortable and hard for dinner at a restaurant. IMHO they suit more to a fast food place, where people are not supposed to spend approx. 2 hours enjoying a dinner.

27/01/2025: I had a wonderful experience at this Italian pizza restaurant! The pizza was absolutely fantastic – perfectly baked with fresh, flavorful ingredients. The drinks complemented the meal beautifully, adding to the overall enjoyment. While the tiramisu was just average and didn’t quite stand out as much as the other items, it didn’t take away from the excellent overall experience. Highly recommend this place for delicious pizza and a great dining atmosphere!

23/01/2025: Fantastic pizza! There are a lot of interesting propositions on the menu. A very nice basement where you can watch the chefs. Nice service. You need to book a table in advance.

04/12/2024: I went to this restaurant with a friend and I must say that I liked it a lot! The place is super cozy and has a really nice atmosphere, perfect for relaxing. The staff was very kind and made us feel at ease straight away. The food is really delicious! You can tell they use fresh ingredients, and each dish was thoughtful and full of flavor. If you are looking for a place to eat well and spend a nice evening, this is perfect.

10/01/2025: I'm sorry to go against the grain with the other reviews but unfortunately we return from an experience that was certainly sufficient but not exactly "unforgettable" as they promised us at the time of booking. Let's start from the basics: completely new structure, totally renovated and beautiful. There is an atmosphere of calm and design. Friendly staff and there's nothing to say about that. Very clean and tidy rooms. Unfortunately, however, in the latter the bidet is missing, where in its place a toilet with integrated bidet and sprayer similar to Japanese toilets was installed, which however did not work at all in both rooms we booked. Very nice SPA area but there is a lack of extra attention in the tea and herbal tea area, where more than once it was necessary to call the reception to have the dispenser containing the herbal tea "refilled". The same goes for glasses and cups. The experience of the infusion of steam in the panoramic sauna is very beautiful, where some members of the staff throw essences into the embers of the sauna and wave towels towards the guests, very characteristic and particular. New swimming pool but water that is really too cold. The water will have been at around 30/31 degrees, certainly a warm and acceptable temperature for the summer period but certainly not enough to be able to sit in the external area (with -7 degrees outside) to have a hydromassage, where after less than 2 minutes you have to I have to go back inside because it's too cold. Sin. However, the great sore point of the experience was the restaurant. It has NEVER happened to me to stay in a 4 star hotel and have a buffet of ONLY vegetables for 3 nights in a row. Salad, corn, onions, canned tuna, some avocado sandwiches and bread. End. Totally unacceptable for a structure of this type. Furthermore, I don't understand why on the first evening we were given a super full and varied buffet and from then on only salad. The rest of the dishes were good but not exceptional, plus the choice was really extremely limited. The menu is made up of a "menu of the day" including an appetizer (almost always plant-based), a first course, a choice between two second courses (one based on meat or fish), the other plant-based and a dessert . In addition to this, it is possible to choose some alternatives from the children's menu or any other simple dish. Again not acceptable in a 4-star hotel of this level, where the menu of the day should always include at least a double choice of both first and second courses (usually one meat and one fish). Truly small and microscopic portions of "novelle cousine" which can certainly fit if accompanied by an abundant and varied buffet, but which was totally missing here. For two evenings in a row we woke up hungry, which I consider totally unacceptable given the expense incurred to stay here. Good raw materials but totally insufficient choice and quantity. They only recovered on the last evening, having a "Tyrolean aperitif" before dinner, the only evening where we really ate in the right quantities. From 10pm to 7.30am the structure turns off all external lights (and internal ones too!) to "save". For two evenings in a row we returned to the room in the dark risking stumbling as the light in our corridor was completely off (I attach photos at 07:00 in the morning where you can see how all the lights in the corridor are completely off, and it is all dark). Very high prices, in line with the luxury hotel market in Plan de Corones certainly, but once you ask customers for this money, you cannot at this point show up with a vegetable-only buffet at the restaurant and have such a cold swimming pool. Staff on average disorganized, especially in the restaurant. I'm sorry but we won't be returning again, we often come to this area and with the same amount invested we would certainly have found much better in the other facilities in Brunico and the surrounding area. I therefore do not recommend this hotel.
