Excellent restaurant where you can eat really well.
Abundant breakfast and all very good.
The beach is very quiet nearby.

26/06/2024: Abitualmente, in occasione del rientro pomeridiano, mi fermo al Bar Rio per la pausa pranzo. Nicola, con i suoi primi, rende ogni mercoledì una dolce scoperta e delizia. In genere, mi astengo dallo scrivere le recensioni ma oggi, la Busiata Melanzana e Tonno Rosso con l’immancabile spolverata di mollica, preparata di persona personalmente da Nicola, mi ha veramente invogliato. Non aggiungo altro per non parlare delle generosissime porzioni………

01/10/2024: Highly recommended! A family-run establishment, which offers both a restaurant and a hotel with a splendid outdoor space. When you arrive you immediately perceive a simple and welcoming atmosphere, the owner welcomes you warmly and you immediately feel at home. Very attentive to our requests, they served us with kindness and attention to detail. We ate fish-based dishes to the great pleasure of our palates! The homemade fish caponata and seafood salad were sublime! Not to mention the grouper ravioli... a pleasure! The villa is located in a convenient location very close to the beach and the town: we will certainly return! 👍

25/11/2024: Ho optato per la suite con vasca idromassaggio, per una giornata all'insegna del puro relax. La camera è sobria, luminosa e con vista natura. La vasca idromassaggio comodissima.
04/11/2024: Immerso nel verde tra Porto Palo e la riserva del fiume Belice questo ristorante è anche un B&B . Noi abbiamo prenotato per un pranzo della Domenica,la sala è divisa in varie stanze e il personale è molto cordiale,noi abbiamo preso come antipasto fritturina di calamaretti e carpaccio,come primo spaghetto con bottarga e poi involtini di spada,sinceramente mi aspettavo qualcosa in più come qualità e preparazione dei piatti.Il dolce delle cassatelle di ricotta che sicuramente erano congelate.Prezzo notevole rispetto alla qualità offerta.

Terrible service, the waitress looking fed up and condescending asks us what we want to order without offering us the dishes
Giorno or the fish of the day which are instead offered to the other two tables who we later discover are regular customers.
We order the sweet and sour sardines, many of which are good, and a green salad. That
We are served "house" oil in a cruet unlike the other tables where "good" oil is brought in a bottle.
What a lack of style and rudeness to make distinctions between customers!! I believe it is one of the first rules of catering and education.
I'm sorry for the very kind owner who unfortunately didn't serve us!

Servizio pessimo , la cameriera con aria stufa e di sufficienza ci chiede cosa vogliamo ordinare senza proporci i piatti del
Giorno o il pesce della giornata che invece vengono proposti agli altri due tavoli che dopo scopriamo essere dei clienti abituali .
Ordiniamo le sardine in agrodolce, molte buone e insalata verde . Quella
Ci viene servito dell’olio della “casa” in un’oliera a differenza degli altri tavoli a cui viene portato l’olio “buono “ in bottiglietta.
Che caduta di stile e maleducazione fare distinzioni tra i clienti !! Credo sia una delle prime regole della ristorazione ed educazione .
Mi spiace per la proprietaria molto gentile che però sfortunatamente non ci ha servito !

Generous dishes were explicitly requested, paying any supplement without problems but despite this request made in an absolutely polite manner they did not do anything to accommodate us.
