11/08/2025: We stopped in late at night for a set dinner. Even though we didn't have a reservation and service had already begun, we were greeted with great warmth. The menu was comprehensive, truly delicious, and plentiful, featuring traditional Sardinian dishes. The staff was very attentive to our requests, including a small change to accommodate our eldest son, who didn't like one of the two cheese-based entrees. We'll cherish fond memories of the excellent cuisine and the exquisite local hospitality.

20/08/2025: It's been years since I've been to "LA LANTERNA" Very well-kept restaurant in every way!! The dishes were beautiful and delicious. The fresh fish appetizers, guys, were 5⭐️...not to mention the first courses!! The second courses were equally good. The service was excellent, and the kindness is a hallmark!!! The prices always depend on what you order...you eat raw fish, so don't expect to spend cheap...a great menu. No problem with parking. I'd like to thank Sergio for being up to the task...but I had no doubts!! The sweet helpeeeeee was delicious 🥰 Great guys, I was really happy that we had a nice chat at the end of dinner 🙂 Also, the round of coffees ☕️ and liqueurs "FREE ON THE HOUSE"...Byeeee Thank you Sergio and everything that revolves around you, you were great🍾🥂 See you next time Sergio 💪💪💪

16/07/2025: Siamo stati a pranzo a giugno. C'era menù fisso. Antipasti superlativi per gusto. Il tagliere aveva diversi tipi ti salumi, tutti estremamente saporiti, c'era formaggio, compreso ricotta e una crema di formaggio, melanzane, zucchine, funghi. Porzioni abbondanti. C'erano due primi, ravioli e gnocchetti. Già la porzione è abbondante, in più sono ripassati per sapere se ne volessimo altro. Maialetto arrosto, salsiccia, agnello, e manzo. Patate arrosto. Sorbetto. Probabilmente neanche ricordo tutto. Abbiamo mangiato benissimo. Prezzo fisso 40 euro. La recensione la volevo fare soprattutto per il cameriere, che ha gestito tutta la sala da solo, forse c'erano un centinaio di persone, una ventina di persone, comprese tavolate numerose di famigliari o lunghe tavolate di motociclisti in giro per l'isola. Non ha mai fatto aspettare, ha sempre chiesto come andasse, è stato puntualissimo nei tempi, mai presto, mai tardi. Ha avuto premure che non tutti avrebbero avuto, visto che c'erano due bambini piccoli ha suggerito, prima che dicessimo qualcosa noi, di non ordinare qualcosa di particolare ma di far assaggiare loro quello che c'era, evitando di far pagare in più, ha avuto molte attenzioni che oberato di lavoro com'era non so neanche come facesse a seguire tutto. Sempre con il sorriso, mai affannato, è stato perfetto. Ah, i caffè si prendevano al bancone a fine pasto, faceva pure i caffè. Mi spiace non poter scrivere il nome del signore perchè non lo so.

I think it is the best restaurant we have visited... and to say that we have been to renowned ones... the welcome with a smile... the elegant lady... the very kind waitress... fantastic dishes... unexpected flavours... fantastic wine what more can I say? It deserves... we will definitely return... a hug... see you soon.

23/05/2025: Lavoro da anni nella Gastronomia , anche in giro per il mondo... si vanta tanto la pizza napoletana, ma l'impasto che fà questo ragazzo è vermante OTTIMO , bilanciato e saporita, leggera e cotta perfettamente in un forno a legna stupendo , non è la classica pizza buttata li che non ha sapore , io consiglio la prova .... non rimarrete delusi

Oltre le spiagge stupende della Sardegna, il mare viene servito all’Happy West direttamente in tavola e il vostro palato non potrà che ringraziarvi ! Provate il carosello di antipasti di mare seguito da sua maestà Fregola e cosa dirvi…. Provate per credere vi accoglieranno a braccia aperte e vi sentirete a casa ❣️

17/06/2025: I'm Canadian, and my Italian is rather limited. But the restaurant staff is understanding, charming, patient, and friendly. Good food in very generous portions, some things more delicious than others. The restaurant is essentially an open terrace on the edge of a park with a pine forest, perfect for warm evenings. The pizzas we tried were wonderful.
