13/10/2024: The small, cute restaurant is located in a side street, a little away from the tourist flow.
Seniora Barbara, who looks after the service, is a very friendly and attentive host. She also speaks German and takes care of her guests' wishes with her usual friendliness.
It's a nice little restaurant with no frills. Sitting outside in the narrow alley is possible. However, seats are limited here. Better reserve for the evening. Very romantic spot under the arch in the evening!
Unfortunately, prices have also risen here, which certainly also reflects the general price development on Lago d.G. is owed.
Conclusion: We'll be back👍
07/10/2024: I was there once during my vacation and picked up once.
The restaurant is, as befits its status, very busy and a reservation is almost mandatory. But there is a reason. The food is great, the house wine is very tasty and the service is extremely nice.
We will come back as soon as we are back on site.

24/08/2024: Located on the beautiful market square with a small church. No traffic and just park along the street.
For me the pizza is one of the tastiest. If you like them thin and lightly topped but still juicy, you will love them.
You can watch pizza being made when you go to the restaurant.
But other dishes are also really very good. Risotto Nero e.g.
The waitresses are always very nice and friendly.
20/08/2024: There are perfect pizzas, delicious salads and a wonderful tiramisu.
I would also give this 6 out of 5 stars.
A bit difficult to get to and almost always full!
The journey is definitely worth it!

28/08/2024: Wir waren von der Qualität der Speisen und dem tollen Ambiente begeistert. Auch das Personal ist freundlich. Wir kommen auf alle Fälle im nächsten Urlaub wieder.
27/08/2024: Albisano is a place that stays with you forever, I think. Le Tavernette is the mirror of the synthesis between history, modernity and the pleasantness of the place. Having only eaten pizza I cannot have an overall opinion of the cuisine. The pizza itself is not up to par (the classic margherita had a salty tomato, with unsuitable mozzarella and no basil) but the beauty of the place makes up for it all.

29/08/2024: I was there every evening years ago because it was just great.
After a long break, I stopped by again and was shocked to see that the quality of the food, the service and the prices had deteriorated so much. Wobbly pizza, pasta dishes without a kick and the house wine (red) for God's sake, what happened here!
It seems as if the B or even the C team has taken over the kitchen and service here.

To the owner's answer.
Of course I'm sure of that.
If you as the owner 1. don't notice that your service and the quality of the food has deteriorated and 2. you don't know your guests, then my last sentence in my review is confirmed one hundred percent.
28/08/2024: Wir kommen schon lange an den Gardasee. Sind nun schon zweimal wieder da gewesen. Pizza, Nudeln und Fisch, alles war sehr gut und schmackhaft.
Kommen sich noch einmal.

The food is good. We were there for dinner with our dog. We asked if dogs were allowed. Answer but of course ohhh beautiful dog...
After we had eaten and paid, friends of ours stayed seated. As soon as we left, our table and chairs were cleared away and the place was wiped and scrubbed as if we had the plague. All the guests were watching.
They'll never see us again!!!!!

29/08/2024: Our absolute favorite bar in Torri del Benaco. We sat here almost every day for lunch and dinner. The prices are reasonable, the drinks are well mixed - there is a huge selection. The location is great and Caffé Pistachio is highly recommended!

26/08/2024: Ero una cliente da anni e ho sempre mangiato la pizza molto buona.
Ieri sera tre insalate con ingredienti mediocri, le due mie amiche rimandano in cucina le insalate con le acciughe perché esageratamente piccanti ( quasi preoccupate che ci sia un qualcosa di avariato) e chiediamo una pizza in sostituzione. 40 minuti di attesa per la pizza e scegliamo di andare a pagare senza aspettare oltre.
Alla cassa la titolare, molto scortese, vuole farci pagare tutto. Al mio disaccordo un altro responsabile ci dice che ci offre quello che avevamo mangiato. Scortesi e maleducati. Poteva succedere delle insalate, bastava sostituirle con la pizza in modo repentino.

04/10/2024: Setting is perfect, white table cloths dimly lit, right by the water and marina. A delightful relaxing Friday night dinner. BUT once inside, staff are all about getting you in and out, seemingly in less than an hour. My advice, never order more than drinks to start. Otherwise your appetizer and bread arrive well before your nice bottle of wine. I wasn’t finished with my salad when my hot entree arrived. While all that was going on, two waiters had a loud disagreement about where to seat guests that had just arrived. Yelling across the restaurant while my husband and I tried to have a conversation. Others in the room were interrupted as well, wondering what was going on. There is a lot of great food in this part of Italy. Don’t waste your time or $$ at this facade of a restaurant.
22/09/2024: Lovale ben posizionato. Sul lungolago. Abbiamo mangiato in veranda interna.
Insalata nizzarda buona ma le uova avevano uno arano sapore e non le ho mangiate.
Altri piatti nella media, buoni.
Posto bellissimo e molto pulito. Personale cordiale e veloce.
Ottima tappa, anche se non eccomica, ma d altra parte, si è sul lungolago e ci sta.
Tornando a Torri., ci tornerei..

11/08/2024: Credo la pizza più scadente che abbia mai mangiato. Biscottata finissima con condimento tutt’altro che fresco. Un insulto a una italiana.
12/07/2024: Passeggiando a Torri del Benaco di domenica, ci siamo fermati a pranzo in questo ristorante che ha tavoli anche a ridosso del lago. Abbiamo mangiato due pizze, buone. Servizio cortese e veloce. Ma pagare 3€ di coperto per mangiare una pizza e 2€ per il caffè lo trovo poco corretto.
