19/09/2025: Authentic and delicious food. It's a bit difficult that the staff barely understands English, but the service is pleasant and they try very hard.
12/09/2025: This is a wonderful gem along a mountain trail aside Lake Garda. The food was surprisingly good! The best we’ve had in Italy and the couple who owns this place is just as lovely.

16/10/2025: Excellent and authentic Italian restaurant. The atmosphere is very cozy, inviting, and family-friendly. Both the pizzas and pasta are second to none. Definitely worth a visit!
16/10/2025: Small, intimate, friendly, and good: that's what distinguishes this somewhat hidden pizzeria. The portions can be ordered "abbondante" (large), so that, for example, one spaghetti course is enough for a main course. The restaurant, located in the vaulted cellar, is cozy, with the owner in charge of the service and the chef in charge of the kitchen. An absolute recommendation!

21/09/2025: We had spaghetti with clams for lunch, but they weren't real clams... plus a plate of mussels, but they were dry and reheated!!! I definitely won't be back!
16/09/2025: Great pizza with a large salad each for €10. 1 liter of rosé wine and a bottle of water for €58. We ate there twice in a row for €116. Unfortunately, the salad on the second day was half price for the same price. We complained to the waiter in English. When we told the manager, he came back and said everything was freshly prepared.
We didn't really understand that answer. From then on, we were hardly considered guests anymore. When paying, we were asked if everything was OK, but that was all, and they didn't respond. A certain arrogance. There are certainly some good restaurants in town.
Last time for us. !!!!!!!!

Bar Al Porto

20/09/2025: We discovered Bar al Porto as a place where we could relax in the afternoon and enjoy a snack and a drink. The menu offers a wide selection of both drinks and food; they even have Hoegaarden on tap, served in truly unusual glasses! As for snacks, we particularly enjoyed the Foccaccina Galeone. The staff was also very friendly—we'll definitely come back here on our next stay!
06/09/2025: A lovely, family-run, authentic bar in a beautiful location near Torri del Benaco Castle, overlooking the harbor. We were served by a very young waiter who, although a bit awkward, was very friendly and accommodating. The drinks and prices were good, and complimentary snacks (nuts/chips) were served. Unfortunately, I can't rate the food.
If you want to enjoy a good drink in a beautiful, quiet location, you should definitely pay a visit to Bar al Porto. I definitely recommend it.

15/09/2025: In the two weeks we've been in Torri, we've visited various restaurants and (unfortunately) only stumbled upon this gem towards the end, so we only ate there twice.
If we ever come back, it will be more often :-)
The service manager, Nicola, is simply incredibly witty, charming, and kind. His aura is contagious and transfers to the staff. Discreet, friendly, fast, and reliable.
Plus, a beautiful view of the lake (although the neighboring restaurants have one too, of course).
Unfortunately, our completely satisfied guests have already returned home.
Top - highly recommend the Miralago!

17/09/2025: Great restaurant with friendly staff. When we were there today, many locals were also eating there, which is usually a good sign. We had mussels, fritto misto, gnocchi with Bolognese, and a pizza Pugliese. Everything tasted absolutely delicious, and I can wholeheartedly recommend the place :)

06/10/2025: Unfortunately, our visit was disappointing. The food wasn't a feast for the palate, and the prices were disproportionate to the quality offered – much of it seemed like frozen food. The service was also unfriendly. One thing is for sure: We won't be eating here again.

18/09/2025: For us, this was the worst dining experience so far during our stay in Torri del Benaco. The starter was good (for three people): tomato soup, tortellini soup, and vitello donato. The main courses were unfortunately a huge disappointment. The trout was burnt, having been grilled too long. The tagliatelle with porcini mushrooms was completely sticky; the pasta was clearly not fresh; you had to use a magnifying glass to find the porcini mushrooms. The pasta with truffles was clearly not truffles; they had to use truffle oil to help it along. Overall, for €96, it was a disastrous price-performance ratio.
We were also ripped off with the bill at the end: for fries listed on the menu, €5, we were charged €10. Absolutely not recommended!!!!!

22/09/2024: Personale maleducato. Sembravano scocciati nel darci un tavolo, ancora da pulire, degli ospiti precedenti.
Arrivo con i miei genitori anziani e li faccio sedere aspettando ci puliscano il tavolo. Passano tre camerieri per varie volte e non vi guardano nemmeno.
Dopo averci detto che il tavolo era quello.
Passato 15 minuti, ci alziamo e andiamo via. Uno dei camerieri vedendoci ha anche sbuffato, perché forse dovevamo attendere in piedi.
Per carità, mai più .
28/08/2024: Wir kommen seit vielen Jahren und auch diesmal war es keine Frage wo wir hingehen. Leider hat sich das Preis Leistungsverhältnis verändert. Portionen sind kleiner geworden, der Preis gestiegen. Leider nicht mehr unsere erste Wahl.
Nach einem ausgiebigen Abendessen gab es früher einen Grappa aufs Haus.
