20/05/2025: what can I say....after leaving another environment....with an owner who is shameful in his welcome....we arrived by chance at this pizzeria restaurant....as soon as we entered...the pizza chef....I think he is the owner...he greeted us and immediately after...he called a girl....behind the counter and had her come to us...in 3 minutes we were at the table...and we were ordering..(restaurant already with many customers...at the table...the environment is large...). appetizer and pizza....and dessert...from Serie A....everything really excellent... dishes beautiful to look at....and to taste. But the difference was made by the cordiality...of the first person who welcomed us....and then gave us the bill....to the girl who served us....my compliments really....when we are in the area we will return to you....and we will send friends to you. I saw a fried seafood....that I will have to try....sooner or later. Thanks.. Stefano from Lucca. I recommend everyone to try this place...it's on the first floor...with a lift...and the atmosphere is really nice....the outside atmosphere....even for groups of young people...it's super.

18/05/2025: Piacevolmente ospitati quattro sere a cena; cortesia, simpatia, qualità di ogni portata e prezzo adeguato. sorpresi dalla cortesia di Francesco e naturalmente del titolare. location ottima che ha sollevato il morale rispetto all’alloggio nella Tenuta Decimo

18/05/2025: In posizione defilata, lungo la strada che da Castel porta a San Gimignano, la Locanda del Borgo è un ambiente tranquillo dove si mangia toscano e bene. Ottimi i pici al ragú bianco di cinta senese così come le caramelle ripiene con la pera e il formaggio versato a cascata. Gustosissimo il tagliere con affettati toscani (coppa, finocchiona e salame) accompagnato da crostoni e salsine, il tagliere di formaggi e…senz’altro la famosa fiorentina che qui è certo di casa. Prezzi non economici, ma ormai nello standard. Cena consigliata a chi si trova da queste parti.

07/12/2024: Nice place, clean and quiet, but poor service. I ordered fried anchovies with tartar sauce and I received anchovies in oil with a bit of salad. We took 3 starters, 1 first course and a mixed grill for a minimum of 2 people for 20 euros which in the end according to their reasoning became 2... 2 coffees, a half liter of wine and sparkling water to say why it wasn't... we spent 105 euros . I have to say that in my opinion it's too much. Price quality non-existent. I will never come to this restaurant again

05/01/2025: For a quick and still good lunch. The pici with ragù are good (a bit few for me, I would have liked more); the tortelli with butter and sage are good (2 large handmade tortelloni). Courteous service as usual.
