15/07/2024: Recommended by other local businesses, in fact the food was good, the waitress was super courteous and kind, we couldn't fully appreciate it, only appetizer, good, pici, good, but after the first forkful we had to leave due to a lot of flies shocking, with sprays of insecticide for hours and during the meal... shame
15/07/2024: Born from the determination of the owner, Filippo, after his experience at La Foce, can boast one of the best fish cuisines in the Arezzo province (perhaps the raw millet of the province), and an excellent cellar (especially in whites). Pizza and meat dishes are also very good. Nice and convivial atmosphere with a splendid terrace in the summer. The friendly courtesy of the owner and his staff is irresistible.

The team behind the food were so friendly and helpful, serving recommendations and helping to translate.
The white duck gnocchi was delicious and the mixed grill was fab!

27/07/2024: When we visited Castiglion Fiorentino two years ago, we walked past Pizza Service several times without trying it. But this year on our vacation, we went and bought take-away pizza, and it was friendly service and wonderful pizzas.
In fact, we went back again two days later.
Highly recommended if you are looking for a quick and easy dinner.

09/06/2024: Siamo stati in due per cena . Sebbene il servizio sia stato veloce e il personale accogliente, purtroppo devo mettere una stella. Per un calzone semplice con cotto , un antipasto e due birre abbiamo speso 45€. Prezzo esagerato . Neppure fosse un ristorante in centro . Per di più non mi sembra affatto proporzionato il coperto 2,50€ e due caffè normali uno 2,00€ e l’altro 1,50 €. Increduli.

31/08/2024: I have yet to digest the vegetarian pizza (mix of defrosted ready-made grilled vegetables, with a rubbery consistency and an indefinite flavour: the same look and taste as the discount bag). The pizzas are cooked in two electric ovens near the entrance by a poor pizza chef who does what he can. The Coca Cola arrived at room temperature.
The panna cotta without infamy and without praise.
Terrible service: the empathy of the owner and the waitresses is zero.
The location is very suggestive.
I have rarely made such drastic judgments, perhaps never. I'm sorry, but we're not quite there.

I remember it from school, every time I come back I can't help but go and eat a piece.
I recommend it to anyone who visits Castiglion Fiorentino..
14/12/2023: Porcini is not just pizza and sandwiches, it is an institution, the food is excellent and the owners are nice and friendly.

14/02/2024: Cameriere molto scorbutico e maleducato, ha sbagliato a prendere l’ordine per la fretta(che può succedere) rispondendo con toni poco delicati e non appropriati all’ambiente.
Cibo nella norma, niente di eccellente.
