la pizza è veramente napoletana.
a mio cognato ho voluto fargli provare il babà: adeguatamente impregnato di rum.

03/07/2024: The reviews were right, have had the real thing from Naples a few times and this is up there with them, the two brothers are from Naples so they know what level they have to reach and reach it they have ! Close your eyes as you eat and you might as well be in Naples.

05/08/2024: I went to dinner with my family without any reservation because we were passing through. It was worth it... the Veliero starter was excellent, varied and for all tastes. We had two first courses and two second courses of seafood, all very good. I highly recommend and would happily return 👍🏻
05/08/2024: 14 of us at the table were served with punctuality, precision and friendliness by Giuseppe. Right portions, tasty with prices appropriate to the quality of the raw materials. Especially recommended for eating on the terrace overlooking the sea.

We asked for a dish that was not on the menu and the cook was happy to prepare it. It was perfect!
Then an excellent homemade tiramisu.

18/08/2024: Cenato con amici, cibo della media tempo appena lunghi cavatelli di mare appena troppo cotti, riso patate e cozze discreto; cosa non accettabile 4 euro di coperto per tovaglia e tovaglioli di carta. Personale ok. Da non ripetere

de hoofdgerechten waren sumier. Alleen 3 hele dunne asperges en n klein stukje vis. Qua smaak wat droog en zeker niet bijzonder. De bediening was vreselijk. Geen goede samenwerking en daardoor werden de gerechten niet allemaal tegelijk opgediend. Heel jammer.

23/07/2024: I recommended this restaurant to some of my friends and they had one of the worst experience. If previous years was OK, this year (2024) it's one of the worst. They serve bad food and they have an horrible attitude.And they have the audacity to say "HERE in Italia this is how we serve it." That is incorrect. They give Italia a bad name, both in terms of food and people. The pictures of food they have are all lies.
DO NOT COME HERE! Save your money and go somewhere else. They are not worth it.

24/10/2023: Came on to do more of my usual post holiday reviews and was surprised to see all the negatives about this cafe. It wasn't our experience at all. We stopped at Ustuni to explore before driving on to our hotel on the outskirts and came across this cafe with its beautiful location so decided to stop for a coffee. Service was prompt and friendly. Our cakes and coffees were really good, specially the pasticciotto. We also shared a pistachio and hazelnut gelato. Also good. No cover charge. I would go back.
14/10/2023: Ok pagare una birra 6€… anche se non siamo a palma di Maiorca. ma i bicchieri sporchi come non fossero mai stati lavati. Quello no. Un tris di patatine veramente imbarazzante. 16€ pessimamente spesi

06/07/2024: Pessimo posto una insalata praticamente tutta verdura con una pallina, grande come una castagna, di burrata euro 16,00 !!!! Praticamente un contorno di insalata . Qualità /prezzo inesistente !!! E’ costato meno un piatto di orecchiette . Ti accoglie una ragazza che fa ordinazione e i camerieri poi servono e litigano pure tra di loro . Esperienza pessima state alla larga !!!

12/05/2024: Visited this restaurant twice on a recent visit to Ostuni. We turned up and were the only people in the restaurant, do not be put off, some locals turned up later! This is worth the visit, food was good and reasonably priced. If you are looking for local good food please visit, it is an experience!

23/06/2024: We came here last year 3 times while staying locally. We loved it that much, we’ve come back a year later to go again!
The food is amazing and the staff are really friendly. Well worth the trip out of town if you can make it - it’s so worth it!

22/04/2024: Questo posto è uno dei motivi per cui torno volentieri ad Ostuni…un posto sicuro dove mangiare una pizza..delle polpette o degli ottimi piatti Ostunesi in compagnia degli amici di vecchia data…ma soprattutto per scherzare e ridere con Silvano e sua moglie proprietari da sempre di questo posto..che avranno finalmente la luna di miele solo quando andranno in pensione..
Speriamo mai ….
